To be clear, I am not asking anyone to stifle conversation about Jack, just asking that any specifics not be posted here as chances are they would not be verifiable anyway. I think any of us would want the same if we were in his/their position. The fact that his doctors were able to intervene as they did indicates that those with him acted swiftly to get him to the right place in time to do so. That sort of action is life saving. Meanwhile, prayers are the best all of us can offer.

Based on what? There aren't many who would base that assumption on coaching, as the Princeton system was overtaken by changes to the game by the late 2000s and JT III never fully adjusted. Contrast that to Jay Wright, whose early Villanova teams got lost in defensive rock fights before his changed his strategy, and soared to unseen heights on the Main Line. Give Ed Cooley Big East-level talent and he will succeed. No one was confusing last year's lineup for UConn or Marquette.

Give me or you that UConn team and we will succeed. The key is getting and retaining it.

Well at least people are still paying attention to Georgetown, I guess there's that. And if you're Thomas Sorber, I would assume you know that you signed up for this. College hoops "pundits" are are weird group. Gotta get those views though.

People should pay attention to Georgetown Basketball as an ongoing cautionary tale about what happens when an entire University remains enthralled with a deceased leader who last had big success 40 years ago.

Indeed. The “DPRK Model”?

Thomas Sorber is the guy we want starting, I don’t believe we ever really wanted a transfer starting center, only a backup. I think is why we didn’t get any takers, Sorber is Cooleys choice and I can’t wait !!!!

So in your view, Cliff O. came for an official visit, got the red carpet treatment, watched a prize fight at Kenny Johnson’s plush condo - all to be freshman Thomas Sorber’s backup?

Unless Thomas shows up like freshman Ewing, my guess is that Fielder starts at the 5 and Burks starts at the 4.
Here is what I see
Mack/Epps/Kayvuun Epps/Curtis Williams/Kayvauun Peavy/ McKenna/ Curtis Williams/Caleb Williams. Burks/Peavy/Caleb Williams Fielder/Sorber/Burks

We have 2 total players to play the 5…maybe Burks in a pinch…..and you want Fielder and Sorber on the court at the same time. Get used to disappointment.
