Since I can't attend this years race (no spectators allowed) I'm going to entertain myself by writing a quick prediction of the Men's race. The winning team in the race goes to the NCAA Championship in OK on the 15th...#2 a maybe at best... I think the Hoya Men have a great chance of winning...at last year's Big East our sub 4 milers Nick and Spencer were spinning their wheels in the mud...this year's hard packed ground (think Van Cortlandt Park) should really benefit our 1500/3000 guys like Jack Salisbury and Matt Payamps...Nova has two great runners who could easily finish in front of all of our guys and UConn has three very good runners who have already had the benefit or running two XC races...but any of our ten guys could be in our top five...no low sticks this year but a great team effort will get it done... Keep an eye on true freshman Owen and sophomore Jantz... Go Hoyas! Thanks for the preview! Looking forward to watching the races (starting in 35 seconds!)! Any idea if Nova is running Sean Dolan today? He's on the Declared Athletes list for the indoor mile next week. Wondering if Nova would have him double back.

Sami Corman is in the lead pack after 1 or 2 K, plus it looks like two other Hoyas up there in the women's race.
