He actually led the team in scoring per 40 minutes during the regular season on admittedly few minutes. When he is on the court, he is not passive.
Just wish he would grow an inch or two.

I’m so glad someone bumped this thread. He plays under control and looks very comfortable out there.

Looks more like a PF in the paint and he's got a wide frame so I totally agree with adding a inch or two in height

Did some good stuff. Could be wrong, but he seems more fit than he was at the start of the year. But he will have to be very crafty to finish around the hoop in the Big East given his lack of height and explosiveness.

He possesses a lot of natural instincts as a player, multi positional, he was his teams biggest player and primary ballhandler. Don't think he's gonna grow much but he can definitely thin out a lil which will add quickness and explosiveness. I love his confidence and his quick decision making, he knows what to do with the ball. I see a crazy sophomore bump ahead just hope he utilized properly.

Holloway is a very fundamentally sound player who has good feel for playing in the post and has developed some impressive offensive skills for an undersized post player. I think his skill level is good enough to be a contributor in the Big East, I am not sure his size and athleticism will allow him to be a rotation player in the Big East as a power forward and I think at this point, that is his only position. Could he be an end of the bench depth guy who gives you occasional minutes, I think he can be that. I guess the question is does he want that role, or does he feel he should get more consistent minutes. I guess we will find out this off season

When I see him, I see a Big East athlete, if not a special one. He needs to work very hard, but he could contribute.

Needs a consistent 3 point shoot if he wants minutes.

I mean he looks completely below the rim with no lift but seems to have some moves in the paint.

I mean he looks completely below the rim with no lift but seems to have some moves in the paint. Agree with this assessment completely. It will be tough with his game to get regular minutes. With his build and minimal hops, he would need better quickness and an outside shot. He has that old man game which is respectable but not something I think you seek out on a roster.

This guy is one of my new favorite Hoyas. I know that he doesn't seem to be as athletic as some but he is very very effective where it comes down to scoring. He reminds me of Roosevelt Jones, the Butler great small forward (who really should have been playing the guard position because he was undersized). Roosevelt Jones was a beast for Butler and was always one of our hardest guys to guard. I can't wait to see more of Holloway to see if he can fit the bill which I believe he can.

Appears to have great fundamentals and head fakes.

Who was the guy who transferred from us to, Towson I believe, and went on to be their conference player of the year? Wasn't he about the same size, 6'6 or 6'7

Deadly weapon and Jones used to kill us all the time with that shot. It was damn near unstoppable!

I think Collin has all the skills and physical tools but his adjustment will be the competition level, watching his videos, it seemed to be low level competition. I remember saying the same thing about Bey from Villanova’s high school film Bey played at Sidwell and they were ranked top 5 in the Post. They beat Colin Gillespie's team that won the PA state championship that season, as well as Luka Garza's team a couple of times. They may have played some scrubs here and there, but it's not remotely comparable.
