Aw was such an incredible defender. I have not seen many Hoya defenders who could more capably, steadfastly and fluidly defend all five positions. His instincts and feel for D were crazy good. One of the best college defenders I have ever seen- amazing. Gene Smith and Ewing both say hi. Different positions, of course.

No doubt- all of those guys were epic defenders in their own right.
What I loved about Boubacar is that he could and did guard so many positions. Also, without making a showy big deal about it, he got into his opponents' heads and usually messed up their game considerably.

Strange shot release, but it works. Just what the doctor ordered for Cap One: some basket rattling! That video reminded me of Josh. I also noticed that the threes were somewhat contested, at least. Granted, he'll be against better and bigger defenders in Big East play, but I am optimistic he can maintain the 38% from three stat. He seems athletic, too. Part of the key will be getting those turnovers down.

Part of the key will be getting those turnovers down. Depends on the release and where the defender is. From the highlights, it looked to me as if he has a mid-level release, but with a Mom Wallace's Broom-high arc. Also, Jamari shoots the 3 with his legs wide apart. Again, it looks strange, but it looks like it works for him. Take my shot analysis with a grain of salt since it's all from highlight videos...

A hybrid of Trez’s 2 years...like 7 ppg, good energy & some questionable defense.

Who was chirping he was our best player in practice? Every minute he gets should be going to Sibley. Every damn one!

Happy New Year All!
I am not a basketball wizard! I only coached in high school and a little AAU!
I comment on this subject from gut feeling only!
I also feel that Georgetown Hoyas basketball team would benefit in the short and long term by playing Sibley more in games. I feel the same about Burger!
Not a sermon per say but just a thought! I truly love the team! Fan on steroids!
