Sounds like someones feelin got hurt Also come back @ me when you can speak 7 languages (in Joel Embiid’s voice) My goodness, are you 10 years old? Continuing to speak to other posters in such condescending way is a very nice way to further add credibility and earn support Why dont u do us the favor and keep the topic to Murray’s recruitment instead of further embarrassing yourself? Thank you

"Brandon Murray, 6-5, SO, W, Georgetown – The LSU transfer is going to be the offensive focal point this year for Georgetown and have a chance to showcase the full three-range arsenal we saw in high school and prep school. While his sheer production is bound to jump, his NBA stock will be tied as much to his efficiency, conditioning, and willingness to do all the little things that go into being a valuable role player at the next level." 247sports.com/LongFormArticle/college-basketball-big-east-preview-nba-prospects-196665878/#196665878_3

So the poster of all links everywhere puts it up front in the BEast 22-23 thread? The State of the Program thread? Nope, bury it in the recruiting board, away even from the most regular chatter about the guy who you are allegedly hyping. Seriously, if I wasn't sure Lee Atwater was dead, I would think you were he, managing the negative messaging like no other. And even this article still undersells BMur, who is going to start blowing away expectations in 5 days... 1 2 3 Fireballs

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that sees what Boya does and how he works his agenda. I think our Hoyas are going to be good this year and I believe that Boya does also........

I hope it works for him because it will mean he has a really good year, which should mean the Hoyas have a good year.

Stability is the thing we have been missing. If this roster is middle of the pack and gets into the NCAA, I would be relatively happy. What would make me think we have learned from our past mistakes is if we then bring everybody back and are really ready to roll in 23/24 with developmental players sticking around and getting better. That has been the missing piece for us since the start of this. WIthout that level of roster stability, we are never going to rebuild a true winner. I hope the staff gets that.

This is true. This is what is expected when you get the 4 and 5 star recruits. They don't stay long, maybe on campus less than a year. This is why Kentucky retools every year and does not necessarily convert to championships but does convert to overall win totals. Do you know it has been 10 years since Kentucky won it all with how many 5 star recruits?

Yes, he is better then that but if we are talking stars, you gotta have them stacked up like you mention with Duke & Kentucky. That ain't us. We need guys in the 50 to 150 range who all stick for three to four years with the occasional outperformer (think Bridges from Nova).

Per 247Sports 4 Star recruits were Mutombo, Murray, Akok, and Anglin. Not sure the reputation of 247Sports is though.

I agree and have wanted this for awhile like players that are well into the top 100 and realistic gets for stability. On the other hand, if you’re a coach that needs a team full of 4 or 5 stars just to make the tournament or have a good record then you’re just plainly a bad coach

Stars aside, roster construction is another issue entirely.

True - that's why you need a proven system and recruit to your coaching system and place the players in areas you believe they will excel and be challenged to make the team successful. Go Hoyas - be wonder (in a good way) to the critics this year.

We'll see on the 8th, 12th and the 15th. Hope to see a system or at least some type of pattern of development before we hit the road.
