So now the big question--is there any news on the severity of McClung's injury? Great game for confidence but no way in hell can this team play well without McClung on Wednesday. Going to be a tough game whether Mac plays or not. Losing mac would hurt because we need all the capable players we can get at this point. That said for the second straight year the team is better in conference play with Blair on the floor. Losing a 1 dimensional player that shoots 35/22 is not a huge loss. There is a reason the ORtg for the team is the 2nd worst when Mac is on the floor with only Pickett saving him from the cellar once again.

"Was happy with Pickett's effort on the boards and overall a better effort defensively compared to past games (although he still helped off Heron a little too much for my liking). But man, he's got to do a better job keeping his head there. There are dirty plays that you can take exception to; that wasn't one of them by Figueroa." While the camera was always blocked it looked like Figeroa not only elbowed Pickett in the chest but then smacked him in the groin. And Pickett got called for a technical. As for the Jagan technical, he threw the ball to where the refs are usually back under the basket. Unfortunately the refs were on the sideline instead of the baseline.

Best game of Blair's career to date by far. Good for him. Still not done. This one is the best but SMU was pretty good as well! He was raining 3's in Dallas it was nice to see it in person!

I really didn’t know how we would score today, very happy to be wrong.
Really happy for the win, was very fun at the garden.
Really hope Mac ok very soon. Would second the calls that the movement was better today.
We shouldn’t get too high - stj is flawed (like us). But was a fun win.
I’ve said many many times I can’t stand yurt fade always, etc and not going up strong. The drop step to dunk in second half was thing of beauty. Here’s hoping that is light bulb for hkm

Gotta like Mosely sprinting toward the fracas. Mosely has been the peace maker twice this season and no fear getting in the middle to keep players from doing something really stupid and getting thrown out. Great leadership.

He was on fire that day, but all of those 3s came when we were already up double digits. Today he hit big shots at big times.

That was impressive effort to pull it out. But, you know, going toe to toe and pulling of a semi-miracle win with one of the two or three worst teams in the league is not so great. Better to win than lose, though. Maybe the first part of the second half was rock bottom and it’s all great from here on out. Let’s hope so.

Easy for me to say in the wake of this game, but I never understood this boards perception of Blair as a one dimensional gunner. Maybe freshman year, but his handle, passing, defense and moves to the basket have all improved to the extent that he can have a game like today against a good defensive team. And one thing you can say about Blair whatever kind of game he has: he f#$&@&g cares. Couldn’t be happier for the kid. Now have yourself an amazing week and talk your fellow Canadian MAM into becoming a Hoya.

GREAT WIN.
Refs were very bad- not as bad as the last game, but we still got a very raw deal nonetheless, and still won- great work.
Really wish Allen had not stepped in and Pickett would have dropped the Kermit Washington action on that punk. Nice to see Pickett wake up and have a pulse. That was old school Hoyas and I liked it.

That replay showed hard check/block out by Figueroa. Wasn't that big a deal so don't know why Pickett so frustrated over that. I was looking for a low blow in the man region but it wasn't. Its a hard elbow to The liver. Any hand to hand combat person can easily see that.

In spite of adversity on many levels down the stretch, they all refused to lose...now they know what it takes, and that it can be done if they all work together...also, great coaching job by Patrick to full court press and mix man and zone...hope Mac is ok...
