So guilty until proven innocent? We already know that LSU is guilty, so Nickelberry starts with a strike against him. But that's why I said I'm willing to listen. See my next post. That's fine and I'm willing to listen if there's any actual evidence that he was involved in violations. As I've said elsewhere here, Wade, another assistant, and the football program were investigated seriously and "found guilty." No mention of Nickelberry. At some point "But LSU . . ." isn't really evidence.

Georgetown: "They offered two days ago. They came in recently because Kevin Nickleberry left LSU to go there. So I am still talking to him and now Patrick Ewing. I'll definitely go there for an official visit."

Since we first ranked Coleman a couple of cycles ago, he has done nothing but continue to improve in each viewing. The 6-foot-5 junior at Fort Washington (Md.) Nation Christian has always been an aggressive, slashing wing. This weekend he showcased good pace when attacking from the wing and a high defensive I.Q. He knocked down six threes on the weekend as well. Closing in on 10 offers, the 2023 No. 80 ranked Coleman has taken an early, unofficial visit to Xavier. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/shaw-s-takeaways-national-high-school-hoops-festivalFort Washington (Md.) National Christian’s Isaiah Coleman is emerging in the class of 2023 after making the move into the 247Sports national rankings coming in at No. 72 in the latest update. As far as his recruitment goes, the 6-foot-5 four-star shooting guard has taken one official visit to Xavier and unofficial visits to George Washington and Maryland. He also plans on visiting Miami, Uconn, LSU, Ohio State in the future with no dates confirmed as of yet. 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/Basketball-recruiting-Xavier-Maryland-Isaiah-Coleman-247Sports-178199173/Isaiah Coleman already ranks as the No. 73 overall prospect in the 2023 class but he raised his stock on Sunday with some standout play. The long 6-foot-5 guard can put the ball in the hole and made shots all day long. He created separation off the dribble, connected from deep and got in the paint scoring inside the arc. He does act as a high volume scorer but when he was scoring at the rate he was on Sunday, you just step back and let him do what he does. In the first viewing he was 8-of-19 from the field (4-of-8 from three) and earned eight attempts from the charity stripe, totaling 27-points and six rebounds in a win over New Heights Lightning. He holds offers from Georgetown, Maryland, VCU and others but it is notable that his National Christian Academy High School coach - Kenny Johnson - also just got hired by Rhode Island. 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/LongFormArticle/Nike-EYBL-Session-I-day-three-recap-Tre-Johnson-TJ-Power-Isaiah-Coleman-Solomon-Ball-Tahaad-Pettiford-Jace-Posey-186048363/#186048363_3Coleman was the alpha on the floor during a Saturday afternoon game that saw him knock down a 3-pointer to force overtime before scoring the game-winning layup at the end of the extra period. Currently ranked as the No. 62 player in the 2023 class, Coleman played better than that number in the contest, as he willed his Team Melo squad to victory with 30-point effort that saw him score in almost every imaginable way. Coleman comes equipped with decent length and solid ball-handling skills in addition to his scoring prowess. He’ll need to become a better defender, but the tools to do so are present. Recruitment: Coleman has a few offers to his name but says the only school that has been in recent contact is Connecticut. Huskies coaches were also seated courtside for his impressive Saturday-afternoon performance. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/the-cassidy-awards-eybl-in-orlando
