2 point lead smh. At least Pickett is getting shots up. He needs to tell the freshmen guards to pass him the damn ball. Think he finally figured out he just has to get his, trying to play within a team concept won't work well on this team right now... |

I think since Jesse has 2 fouls as well, he's just playing the smart move that Mourning picking up foul number 3 in 1st half is not a big issue but don't want Govan playing entire 2nd half with fouo trouble. This is a ridiculous strategy that Coach K even said he was happy most coaches except for him did. Jessie has not shown to be foul prone. All 40 minutes of a game count the same. Since Jessie is prone to the meaningless foul 30 feet from the basket, sitting him is the right move. Using Mourning as the guy to come in for him and play those minutes is the bad move. |

Also, the last time Coach K had a team with this level of talent he was coaching at Army. Leaving your five star center on the court with 2 fouls, when you have another 5 star center and 5 other five star players on your roster is a completely different story. |

Jessie has only fouled out twice since Pat has been coach. He has only even got 4 fouls twice this season. I think he knows how not to foul when he shouldnt. |

I didnt realize the minutes in the 2nd half counted more than the points in the 1st half. We only have a 2 point lead because Jessie was nailed to the bench. Now Jessie will end the game with 25 minutes. |

He does, and he also knows how to play even LESS defense then usual in those situations. Good move by Ewing. Just don't play Trey there.

Players rarely foul out. You get 5 fouls. The auto bench with 2 fouls is stupid. More coaches are starting to understand this and play guys through foul trouble. You are only in foul trouble if you have 4.
