I saw Chris at Yates two weeks ago. Would be great if he stayed and worked his way back into Pat' s good graces. Would address tge need for a backup big next year.

Still not lighting it up. I still think Pat could have helped his confidence and development. Reminds me a lot of Dajuan. Good size and body, but happy to shoot from outside and nothing else.

For what it’s worth, Chris Sodom is leaving GW, per Ben Standig.

Interesting nugget in there that I don't think GU ever made public: he tore 2 knee ligaments in the bus accident. As far as I remember, we found out it was a knee injury, but never the severity.

Good luck to Tre. He needed a change of basketball scenery. I hope he and his game flourish with the Gamecocks.
Thanks for the info, Ed and Cam.

All the best to Tre and getting another go.
I knew he had a banged up knee, but not the extent of the injury. Friends who knew him prior to Georgetown and would see him in the gym hadn’t seen him on the courts much when I would ask how he was doing.

Watching Oregon @ CU and it's good to see Paul White again. I'm glad he made most of his career but it looks like his hip is still bothering him. Laboring up and down the court. At this point his game looks like defense down low and set 3pt shooting. At one point I thought he'd be the top of the class due to his experience and well rounded skills but the athleticism never improved and injuries held him back.

I know III gets a lot of crap for the 2014 recruiting class never materializing but they were all also severely injury plagued minus LJ Peak, who happened to be the only player to finish his college career at GU. It was a make or break class for him and they quite literally broke, and unforseeably. Looking back, while he made many a mistake, he also had some extremely bad luck when you think back. Between drawing Steph Curry in the second round as a road game as a 2 seed, late season ending injuries in back to back years to Wright and Freeman, Tyler Adams and the whole 2014 class. I guess that's how the universe balances out inheriting 2 NBA starters in your frontcourt?

Doesn't seem like anywhere near an even swap of good & bad fortune...
