He's got long arms which allows him to shoot over smaller guys both with the back down layups and with the turnaround jump shot. If he can develop a slashing to the basket game to go along with the backdown post move and post down turnaround jump shot, he should be good. His three point jump shot along with mid range jump shot should be worked on everyday for an hour or two. I believe with his talent and length, he could add these facets to his game and it would make him a very effective offensive player. Jarmoko, get a little bit closer to the basket when or before you shoot the ball! Don't think it's an issue of distance per se, but his body balance. Rewatch the shots he takes when set after receipt of a pass - they're pretty accurate. It's when he tries to create a shot off the dribble that his form becomes wack. Would rather have him in the corners or @ the elbows of the 3 point line, set and ready to fire once a pass is sent in his direction. Robert Horry lite, if you will.

My man is going to come through. Y'all just watch and see. The team is still trying to find itself and guys have to figure out what they can do well on the court. Jarmoko only needs to find ONLY a few offensive moves and get to work on his jump shot like Mac did when he was here. Jarmoko needs to borrow from Mac's work ethic and that is hit the gym and spend an hour to two hours a day just working on his jump shot. Finally Marko just need to relax and let the game come to him. I would like to see Marko incorporate as one of his offensive moves, slashing to the lanes for layups (finger rolls and backboard layups) Also it would be good if he could work on a back to the basket post down move along with a turn around jump shot move. He could start from the post backing down a player with the goal in mind to get a layup shot off. If he can't get but so close to the basket, he could try his turnaround jump shot move. If he feels he can't get his shot off, he could pass the ball out of the post. If Walker or Gardner or LeBlanc were still here Jamorko wouldn't be seeing more than 10 minutes a game. Face it guys, he's a senior and his game hasn't gotten measurably better. This, of course, is ridiculous. When they were here, Jamorko played much more than 10 a game. Disagree. With the crop we have this year (especially if Sibley plays) if we had those three guys Jamorko would be a sub. Saw Walker at Kenner and watched him the other night against ASU. He would be a beast this year if he could play with LeBlanc, Sibley or Gardner. Everyone seems to ignore Jamorko's penchant for tunrovers. 5 against a really lame UMBC team. Hey,to paraphrase Groucho, "who are you going to believe me or your own eyes".

Hey,to paraphrase Groucho, "who are you going to believe me or your own eyes". Just saying how I interpreted your initial statement you said Walker OR LeBlanc OR Gardner....so I read it to mean if we had 1 of those 3 Pickett would only play 10 which in that scenario I would agree would be ridiculous. I don't disagree one could make a very good argument that LeBlanc and Walker are simply better players. You won't get an argument from me. Gardner in my opinion is more of a 2/3 versus a 3/4 and yes I liked him as much as the next guy but let's remember he then transferred to a JUCO.

Jamorko is going to have games where he scores 15-18 with 50+ shooting. He is also going to have games where he scores 6-8 and shoots 30% with 2-3 turnovers. If he can maintain his confidence we will see more of the former than the latter.
I just want him to get 7-8 boards a game, a couple of blocks, and keep playing improved defense.

Everyone here has a favorite whipping boy-usually someone who has disappointed them. Mine was Josh Smith. Pickett needs to tune it all out when he has a missed shot or TO, and fans need to remember that he is here (not Lubbock, Baton Rouge or Tucson), playing for the Hoyas, and not hopefully giving up on himself when shots don't fall.

Altho expectations weren't as high for him mine was Nate Lubick for his failure to even attempt a 15 foot shot - unless III instructed him to refrain from taking it.

19 and 18! Efficient and dominated the boards. It wasnt a BE opponent but we got to see his skills on display. BE starts in 3 days, I hope he carries this confidence for the next few months!

Maybe its because his hair is up so high while Qudus has cut his short, but Jamorko looked about Wahab's height when the camera caught them side-by-side. Jamorko is probably a legit 6-10.

I heard that...6-10? He played well. Whatever the numbers, he played like many of us have hoped for. His shot looked great, more under control! Go Morko, go Hoyas!

Great to see Morko have a game like last night. He did not seem to force things and let the game come to him and had great results. Hopefully this gives him confidence for the rest of the season. Things will not always be as easy in Big East play, but he knows he is capable of games like this and I hope we see a few more.

When was the last time anyone on Georgetown had that many rebounds?
Sweetney had a couple of 19 rebound games I remember and maybe one of 20, but don't think anyone has gotten this many rebounds since then.
