We may get smoked when the Big East season starts, but I honestly believe that these MSM guys would be giving us fits if we played them with the old philosophy.

Not able to find a way to get Fox Sports 2 to work and radio not coming in, so this and Twitter are it (sad that I'm in the DC area). Sounds like a pretty complete game for the Hoyas. I liked that we had an even balanced offense. Five in double figures. Can we get back into the PK80 tournament?  |

I don't care who starts as long as Mosely & Blair get the bulk of the guard minutes this season, they're part of the future Mulmore & Dickerson are not..

Impressive performance. High energy, scoring from everywhere, good defense. A few lapses and rough patches (to be expected), and not against high major competition, but this team is a step up from Jacksonville and we demolished them.

All summer I have thought Mosley would take a major step this year and so far so good. Handles pressure well and plays strong. Reminds me of Jabril a little. If he gets that outside shot going he will be a force. Govan is looking good but not really tested yet.

Let's face it we would barely escape with the win or get upset against MSM the past couple years. When was the last time we were up by 30 with 6 minutes left so that we can insert and develop the bench. That was one of the problems. Every game was too close to but in the backups and freshman. So they never developed through the season. |

Have to rewatch some of the tape to get a better idea, but I really liked the Moseley, Blair, Johnson, Derrickson and Govan lineups. Gives us defense and scoring. Pickett will (hopefully) replace Johnson in that soon enough as he irons out some of the normal freshman issues, but we are definitely deeper than we thought. At least against the cupcakes that is, and compared to the last two years is actually an improvement.

Loved what I saw out of Juggy and Jiggy tonight. But there will be games when they are off or in foul trouble, and Trey and Mulmore will have to get minutes instead. Patrick will play every game to win, with whatever works that night.
