Mount St. Mary's lost their opener at Marquette 80 - 59 on Friday: www.mountathletics.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/releases/20171110ye18za. Senior guard Junior Robinson was the leading scorer with 20 points to go along with team high 6 assists.

They play at Notre Dame tonight before heading to DC for Wednesday's game.

Junior Robinson is a high-scoring 5'5" leader of the team, exactly the type of player that gave JT3 and his teams a lot of trouble. Lets see how Pat handles the game plan to contain him with some of the same JT3 players.

Mosely is going to eat Robinson alive defensively, spit out the bones and dunk on the carnage. If we take one thing away from yesterday's game it should be that our defense is REAL - fast feet, strong hands and a take no prisoners attitude.

To me, his demeanor seemed fairly subdued and unemotional. Which is fine by me. But, this isn't all that different from JT3's demeanor and people hated it.

If it's just this particular game you're looking to watch, you may be able to sign up for a SlingTV 7 day trial and stream it that way. I think their package that includes FS2 was $25/month last I checked. I've not used it but, according to their site, it's available on the "blue service" package.

Thanks for this. Verizon is trying to get me to pay an extra $50/month to hook up my tv again so I can watch the hoyas. Come on man, this is 2017. If I want to stream something, there's gotta be a way. I'm going to give sling a try.

I hope it works for you. Please let us know how it goes as I'm sure more and more of us are punting on cable and satellite at this point and I know of at least 3 posters here that are having the FS2 issue.

Marquette has a solid shot at the tournament this year and beat them by 21. Notre Dame is a Sweet 16/Elite 8 candidate this year as always and beat them by 26. This game will be a very good litmus test to show where we stack up with the rest of the high majors. If it's a close game, this year is going to go exactly how we expect it. If we blow them out, I won't be buying tickets to the tournament just yet but it's a solid indication that this team may be better than last in the big east.

It's really hard to make conclusions based on these sort of games. UAB, which is ranked 118, beat Jacksonville by 29, whereas we only beat them by 16. If one were to apply the logic above, that would mean we don't stack up very well to the high majors. I definitely think that this team might be better than 10th in the Big East, but I would be (pleasantly) shocked if we were better than 8 or 9.

Unfortunately, in these games winning by a small margin is often more telling (in a bad way), than winning by a big margin. Remember last year's team beat 343rd Coppin State by 52, whereas the same team only beat 338 Howard by 13.

This. I'd rather play Govan no more than 30 mins and get pt for Sodom, than win by 20 vs 300+ RPI teams.
