Do we have any spots at this point? No we don't... I think Blazers was just pointing out that the post about Nembhard was not about Andrew Nembhard from Florida that is a transfer but by Ryan Nembhard who is a class of 2021 recruit that committed to Creighton...

“Georgetown is another school in my top 5 one because I’m a fan of their style of play. And having relationships with players who were once on the team and hearing them talk about the coach, coaching staff and just team as a whole it definitely seems like a place that I can rock with. Also just having the opportunity to work with a legendary coach like Patrick Ewing.”

Why is he open to all schools to recruit him if he came out with a top five list.
Hoyas don’t have any other scholarships to offer so I would assume that we are off the board as well.

Probably because 3 of his top 5 are out of slots for 2020 and Xavier has a lot of young talent in its back-court right now so who knows how interested they are...

This may be a case of a player slow playing his recruitment to see if he can find a better offer, and then realizing the offers he had are starting to go away as scholarships become unavailable. I liked this player and think he would have fit in well with the Hoyas, but for some reason the two sides could not come to an agreement and now the Hoyas are out of scholarships. I would have thought the staff would prioritize this kid over the last two freshman they brought in, but maybe I am wrong about that.

Last I read on him he was wanting to sit the year to work on his game don't know if that's still the case. Most schools probably want him to play this year.

Utah sophomore Both Gach is in the NCAA Transfer Portal, a source tells 247Sports. Gath, a 6-foot-6 wing out of Austin, Minn., had a big junior season for the Utes, averaging 10.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists a game, while shooting nearly 40-percent from the field. Due to NCAA transfer rules, Gach will have to sit out next season before having two years of eligible. Gath is, however, expected to apply for a waiver to eligible immediately. Gach was a late bloomer in high school, finishing his high school career at Chandler (Ariz.) Compass Prep. Gach was slotted at No. 149 overall and as a four-star prospect in the 2017 recruiting class. 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/Both-Gach-Utah-Transfer-Portal-147268733/Utah transfer Both Gach has found his new home. Though he is currently testing NBA Draft waters, the 6-foot-7 wing is expected to stay in college and will return to his home state to play for Richard Pitino and Minnesota Gach confirmed to Rivals.com on Monday afternoon. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/both-gach-heading-home-to-minnesota

Made the final 6 for Nembhard. So either someone would have to go, or someone would have to redshirt to make room for him.
