What do we think the significance is of Crouch following players? Has that pre-dated any actual commitments? I am not being sarcastic but honestly don't know and sure hope it is a predictor of good things in the future It has for Bile and Jalen Harris. But it doesn’t necessarily mean we are heavily interested in a player, only that a line of communication was opened. There are also plenty of players we have reached out to that Crouch didn’t follow, which tells you that it is only a potential indication we are interested in a player and neither all-encompassing of our transfer/grad-transfer efforts nor necessarily indicative that the player he follows is someone we would take. Coach Couch seems to be able to connect well with players -- you can tell in his social media interactions with the current/former players and the recruits. There is a lot of joking back and forth between them. If he is connecting on social media with any of our targets, then it can only be a good thing. It does not necessarily mean that a commitment will follow, but it is a connection with a staff member who seems really good with this age group.

I thought only designated assistants can do that...

I intended to refer to a player that had already committed to Georgetown.

Coach Crouch can only have direct one on one contact with commits after they've signed their NLI. He can be in the conversations with recruits during a staff zoom meeting/visit but he can't directly contact recruits on his own per his role on the staff.

i Believe he has to sit for a year.. Yeah - he's not a grad. I just think these waivers are going to be handed out like candy this year. I could surely be wrong. Anytime you lose someone as good and productive as Andrew Nembhard, it is not going to help the cause but trust me on this: Mike White and his staff were not surprised by Nembhard’s decision to transfer. Rather, to my understanding, it was more of a mutual separation between program and prospect. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/twitter-tuesday-travel-ball-moussa-cisse-memphis-transfers

We've had enough of both.

Ewww, his stats says take a HARD PASS on him. However, I guess number don't always tell the full story.

Wonder what the delay is about. Maybe waiting for one of the schools to create another open scholarship?

I want us to have the best roster possible next year, but I also want to stability at some point. I'll have mixed emotions if we add Carey - but learn that another roster player is on his way out.

Carey just didn't impress me at all at Syracuse. Was given playing time but didn't produce.

Carey was the one who tripped Allen right?
Yeah, umm I don't want that on my team. Especially not a young team looking to come together.
