Big East final record vs major conferences: ACC: 7-6 Big 10: 11-8 Big 12: 3-2 Pac 12: 5-2 SEC 8-3 AAC: 5-1 A-10: 7-2 Total: 46-24 "Major"? Feels like you threw the AAC and A-10 in there to pad the stats. But 34-21 against the rest of the list is still pretty strong.

Incredibly solid performance any way you slice it. Now with a championship under its belt, the BEAST should not be called a mid-major by any informed observers in the near future.

I believe the Big East went 23-20 versus the P5 last year, another winning record. I added the AAC and A-10 ( which are multi bid conferences) because one poster on another board commented that I was too P5 focused.
