Silver lining: Carolina and Duke are playing a classic right now, so the TV audience for this GU game might not be bigger than the "home" crowd.
Depressing to turn to ESPN and see the contrast in relevance.

DSR should have gone pro. Worst senior season for a high-profile Hoya ever. Just really bad in terms of performance and leadership. Probably a great kid but a really horrific finale.

Man, if we could shoot... We still wouldn't be able to pass or dribble but you're right 1 out of 3 would be better.

Gtown will make a run, they always do... It is just a matter of if they will be able to execute in late game situations. TJI , always drinking from the fountain of the Kool-Aid or did you take your Hoya pills today?

ROFL! DFW would like to bring Esh back. I have no problem with our head coach. I'm critical of the assistant coaches, for different reasons. In the end, these kids have to play smarter. Shooting 5 for 16 is not good basketball whether your coach is John Thompson III or John Wooden. When was the last set play this team has run?

Outside of Govan, we are 1-18 from three. Ouch.

Strong drive Jessie, hope you do that more often! That pretty jumper of his, used wisely, is going to make guys come up on him and give him some lanes to the hoop! Showing his versatility today.

Sorry. You can question his coaching. No problem with that. The personal attacks are too far. And yes, implying that he just cares about getting paid is a personal attack. do you know him? No? Then stick to criticizing his coaching and quit with the attacks on his character. If nothing else, he's always represented the program with class and dignity. Really? a personal attack? I've watched this team season after season and this is supposed to be a big time program where the coach should bear the blame before attacking college athletes. He's not above any criticism in that position. Get out of your bubble and let's make a call if we choose to be a real power in basketball or we are dealing with a volunteer coach who shouldn't be criticized. Are you for real? Um don't read closely do you? I said criticize his coaching all you want. Ok, let me ask you a question then: what single bit of evidence do you have that he just wants to get paid and doesn't care about results? Because we haven't been good? That's evidence he might not be a good coach but not that he's just in it for the money. You should try reading before spouting off whatever comes to your head. And stop acting like you know what motivates him. You don't.

Outside of Govan, we are 1-18 from three. Ouch. A few at the end of the clock, but at least 5 or 6 that were so open, the announcers were talking about missed assignments.

TJI , always drinking from the fountain of the Kool-Aid or did you take your Hoya pills today? I just seen the team come back and beat Creighton and push Providence to the buzzer after being down 26pts. I think they will get the lead under double-digits, but winning the game is another question.

This team is channeling the depths of 2003-04, but that team was seriously devoid of talent. Compare the lineups and you see how disappointing 2015-16 is by comparison. The 2003-04 Georgetown Hoyas: Starters: Ashanti Cook, Darrel Owens, Brandon Bowman, Gerald Riley, Courtland Freeman Reserves: Omari Faulkner, Ken Izzo, Ray Reed, Ramell Ross, Matt Causey, Ryan Beal, Amadou Kilkenny-Diaw, Sead Dizdarevic I looked back at my 2003-04 media guide this past weekend and realized how horribly void of talent that team was. Sweetney turned pro after 2003 and the 2004 team was doomed. Another sad comparison is that the 2004 team played in a much better Big East conference than the watered down conference that this team competes in. That this team may very well finish 7-11 in a conference that may only send 3 or 4 teams to the NCAA Tournament is another example of truly had bad this team is this year.

Go go Govan. And the press. Make a stop and hit a 3. Easy.
I don't understand why some act as if the game is over. Why gripe as if it's a loss, when it's not? It doesn't have to be a pretty win, ya know.
Oh, and orbits...yeah uninspiring cheerleaders keeps our offense soft...,
