I have literally been thinking this all night. I expect a bunch more swing and misses on the recruiting front after this season. And after all, who can blame the recruits? That's a horrible but true statement of the state of this program. We left a BE conference that we competed with national powers and did well but Sh.. the bed in the tournament. Now we Sh.. the bed against these BE doormats that haven't been good in decades (SH, Prov, etc.). Time for the apologists of the program to step aside and let someone get control before we are too far gone. Die hard JTIII supporters will rationalize that the program will get back to where it was in the past in over the next 2 years... |

It's not a great team. It's not a great year.
But it's not a done year and definitely not a done game.
Those are the only facts.
Win this game and keep slogging forward. It's what we got -- one step at a time. Kinda like life.....

This team is channeling the depths of 2003-04, but that team was seriously devoid of talent. Compare the lineups and you see how disappointing 2015-16 is by comparison. The 2003-04 Georgetown Hoyas: Starters: Ashanti Cook, Darrel Owens, Brandon Bowman, Gerald Riley, Courtland Freeman Reserves: Omari Faulkner, Ken Izzo, Ray Reed, Ramell Ross, Matt Causey, Ryan Beal, Amadou Kilkenny-Diaw, Sead Dizdarevic ROFL! DFW would like to bring Esh back. |

Seton Hall is not a terribly good team. That's what makes a lot of these games so difficult to watch. On paper, these are teams we should handle fairly easily. Yet...

I don't think there's any fight in this coach as he's taken care of and isn't really playing for anything. Whether he's clapping or not nothing seems to be changing with this program other than we continue to hit new lows. Sorry. You can question his coaching. No problem with that. The personal attacks are too far. And yes, implying that he just cares about getting paid is a personal attack. do you know him? No? Then stick to criticizing his coaching and quit with the attacks on his character. If nothing else, he's always represented the program with class and dignity. Really? a personal attack? I've watched this team season after season and this is supposed to be a big time program where the coach should bear the blame before attacking college athletes. He's not above any criticism in that position. Get out of your bubble and let's make a call if we choose to be a real power in basketball or we are dealing with a volunteer coach who shouldn't be criticized. Are you for real? |
