Providence 76, Miami 62 I hope that, as he bathes in his pile of money, Jim Larranaga has at least some self-doubt as to whether he took the right job. Also: ACC! ACC! ACC! Miami over GMU? Not a tough choice. Getting paid a lot of money to coach in the ACC and live in Miami? I don't think there's any self-doubt. Miami over Providence. Larranaga is a Provy alum, and the job was his if he wanted it.At Provy, I think he would've become an institutional hero/legend. At The U, short of winning a national title, he'll be a footnote.

Is there any way we can kick out DePaul? They are being embarrassed by Ohio U. Down 20 points in 2nd half.

Just frustrating to have such a bad team in the conference. It would be one thing if we had 16 teams or if it was the old BE, but we need at least a respectable team at the bottom. No idea how they beat Stanford.

No idea how they beat Stanford. Lets make sure we beat them how many times we play them this season. DePaul has a 1-game winning streak vs. GU. No easy games in the BE!

Ohio defeats DePaul 99-78 in the consolation round of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu. The Blue Demons will play the loser of the Loyola Marymount vs. Nebraska contest in Thursday's game. DePaul permitted Ohio to shoot almost 60% from the field.
If they win more than two league games this season, it will be a surprise.

NJIT up 44-41 on Nova at the half. They're 8/13 from three. They can be the 4th new Big East team, when we add SLU, Dayton, and Duquesne

You beat me to it, russkyhoya, but I'd happily swap NJIT for DePaul right now.
Elsewhere, Louisville leads Cal State Niorthridge 38-25 with 19:33 left in the second half in Louisville KY, and Texas leads Stanford 42-39 with 14:20 left in the second half in Austin TX.
