This is easily our hardest game. Michigan State is truly legit (not overrated like I think UK or Kansas will be) and I expect them to be a national title contender.

What an awesome out-of-conference schedule for this transitional year for the team and the league! Michigan St. and Kansas, and possibly Michigan! Can we add a high-flying team like Florida Gulf Coast to the schedule so that we see a little bit of that style before the NCAAs?

Florida Gulf Coast? That's not a real school. Stop making up schools that don't exist.
Really like the non-conference schedule, and this is exactly what we should be doing as the new conference gets off the ground. It's great for recruiting and our overall status as a program to be scheduling the KU's and MSU's of the world.

What was the name of the school that beat us last March in the NCAAs? They haven't held a NCAA tournament since 2007 what are you smoking?

Is there any chance these games might end up on Fox's main network, rather than Fox Sports 1? The extra additional exposure from being on the network would be great, but I'd imagine Fox wants to use it as a way to get attention for Fox Sports 1, which is understandable.
This is a great event, and I am glad we are getting to play a solid team like Michigan State at Madison Square Garden. John Thompson III has always been a good scheduler, in general, but it's a good sign that he's looking to bolster the schedule given the comparative weakness of the Big East compared to previous seasons.

Not according to the press release, both games will be on Fox Sports 1. I'd imagine Fox will be doing NFL coverage but hyping up Fox Sports 1 on the main channel.

Yeah that's kind of like ABC airing college hoops games for ESPN. If they were to air one game (doubt), it would be the BEAST Championship game.

High Point was 208th on KenPom last year. If that's toward the low end of our opponents, it's a definite improvement over Longwood and NJIT types.
