espn boxscore shows 11 blocks not 8 and they only gave hibbert 1 (he definitely had more) .... saw the green foul on tivo and it was definitely not a foul .... also watching that botched dunk over and over was pretty awesome ... cant wait to see the plays on top ten tonight

Congrats, Hoyas. We needed to hit more shots to stay with you guys; with Ralphy, we would have given you a much better game. Regardless, this has been an amazing season for us, one we'll remember forever.
You guys look like you're on the path back to where you used to be. Good luck the rest of the NIT and next year!
Go Titans!

great game by the hoyas! everyone looked good out there especially bo bo and green along with ashanti on the glass. I was impressed by bobby brown's athletisism even with that rejected by the rim dunk of his. But anyway great persistent offense tonight was displayed and hopefully unlv can somehow come back and pull out the win!

Thanks, Auxerre. Good luck to you guys next year.
Congratulations to all the fans there. I don't think I've ever seen a college basketball game on television where the sound came through louder when you guys we really going. Pretty amazing.
Jeff's fifth foul was the cleanest block ever. Absolutely no contact. I think Jeff really had 8 or 9 blocks and probably would have had double digits if he hadn't been in questionable foul trouble. We really should've gone down low more often, but either way, it didn't matter.

Attendance: 6,604
I just realized that guru posted this above, but isn't this stat worthy of more discussion. Multiple box-scores indicate this, but although I think the attendance was extremely impressive, and clearly more than the 2,600/+ announced, I find that stat hard to believe. Anyone have any more info on this?
LET'S GO HOYAS!!! BEAT SOUTH CAROLINA!

All of the students were fantastic.......too bad UNLV isn't cooperating......
The atmosphere looked amazing.......very jealous of all who were there. My last McDonough game was a loss to Yugoslavia I believe in 'Zo's first game as a Hoya in fall of '88

I could not be there tonight (it is a long ride from CT), but I have to give all the credit in the world to the students.
We gave you a hard time with rumors that you could not fill your seats, but you did us proud. All of us. Thank you.
PS - Any sightings of the Jeff Green family?

I think it's a typo guys Still, the atmosphere was awesome. btw, kudos to the people at mcodnough who put in the AC. It was nice and cool all night, despite the thousands of people litterally standing on top of each other. kudos also to ESPN, who put me on camera for awhile according to my brother....first the providence ticket, now national cable television....I am such a celeb now. Any other former players show up besides Jaren Jackson? I think I saw Jameel Watkins, but I can't be sure.

PS - Any sightings of the Jeff Green family? hahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Yeah, just a bit. Imagine what 2,600 people in McDonough chanting "Jeff Green's mom!!" sounds like. And boooooooooy does she get into it too--you can tell she really loves the student section. She was clapping and waving her arms in beat with it, having a great time. She definitely wins the award for fan most "into" the game. (EDIT: She had a sign, but not the normal one she brings to MCI)

The Wallace to Owens to Bowman slam was electric. After tonight I hope we can move towards an on-campus arena. Something in the area of 9-11 thousand would be perfect. Great atmosphere.

Anyone have any more info on this? The GUHoyas box says attendance was 2,604. I'll bet the AP just goofed on the first number and everyone else used their stat. guhoyas.collegesports.com/sports/m-baskbl/stats/2004-2005/032205.html#GAME.BOX

The best thing about the night: the assistant coach (?) for Fullerton. What a frigging hotty.
Worst thing: the surf-board shaped kite throwing guy. Weak.

It sounded like "M-V-P" but we couldn't figure it out.
