Just received a phone call from a business associate I know in Syracuse who said that there is more hype surrounding this game in Syracuse than any other this season. Players and fans will be up for this one. Not surprised... the toughest opponent for Syracuse so far this year has been who... Marquette? Next is Florida I guess. Both at home of course. This year has been a cake walk for them.

This year has been a cake walk for them. When you are the best team in the nation, it usually is a cake walk.

Does anyone have a link to that epic Cuse pregame thread from awhile back? I'd love to read through that again.

Considering they haven't really played away from home in the NC; I'd like to see them in more OC battles on the road.

SIAP but ESPN classic is showing a ton of old Gtown Cuse games over the next couple of days. The 86 Big East Semifinal is on right now. It must be a part of rivalry week as UNC Duke is getting the same treatment.

Definitely one of the best threads of all time, but it was quickly retired due to game-related events. Something about Syracuse scoring more points than us. I dont remember.

Both Jabril and Waiters are from Philly, right? Wonder how often they played each other in HS. I would love to see Jabril given a shot defending him 1 on 1 if Waiters gets hot.

Come Thursday morning, the only thing most of them will have to look forward to is quality time with Laurie Fine. That is just wrong.

Cusefan comes out swinging. ;D Now you know that statement isn't true. Just because Cuse has played the easiest schedule of any team not names USF in the BE, no need to bash GTown. Should be a good one...................

Need to win this one.....if for no other reason than to allow me to keep everyone quiet at work and so I don't have to see a sea of orange on Thursday morning! I say Jabril becomes the most hated Hoya in Syracuse......and loves every minute of it. I think the guys will REALLY be up for this one (how could they not?) and their experience on hostile courts all over the world will put them over the top. I can't wait!!

An old favorite: which 'cuse player do you think is most likely to present Mr. Magoo with a baby in a dog collar?
Mildly NSFW.

By the way, speaking of rivalries.... Anyone listen to Mike and Mike this morning when they spoke to Dickie V? Didn't hear one reference to this game tomorrow night, but on and on about Duke and UNC. I know that bothers me and the rest of my orange wearing kind, but does it annoy you all as well? I'd say we have an interesting little rivalry.
