Is there any reasonable explanation as to why Hollis couldn't check in? Honestly.

Otto Lost Joseph more than on that one play. Couple times in OT and end of regulation.

Impressed with your squad and how they played tonight. I've read the last couple pages of comments and don't want to get into the refereeing. Seemed pretty even to me.
I don't know if anyone here noticed but we played the second half with one hand tied behind our backs. Scoop played the whole second half, for some reason only known to JB. And he was fairly awful. Nearly gave you all the ball. Only guy who was halfway decent was Kris Joseph.
Clark has a nice shot. Glad he didn't hit one more.

I'm not going to feel bad about this one. We played really, really well as a team, especially Otto and Jason. Henry not so much, as others have noted. But it's very, very rare that *every* player shines on the same night. I'm proud of our guys.

Still a good effort -- the loss will be a good motivator for the home stretch, and the frosh held their own except for some defensive lapses at the end. But Henry is still an extremely raw offensive player, Markel is a shot-first point guard who doesn't hit shots, and they don't have enough ballhandlers who can create shots for others -- the offense stagnates in a hurry if the backdoor stuff isn't there. hate to pick on you and im probably responding cause im upset but there were playing zone the whole game, there were no backdoor cuts to be had. only dump downs to cutters from the high post feed... Our offense was outstanding in my opinion, Greg needs to look at some of the chances he had to shoot. Also Markel didn't really play in the 2nd half at all. Greg took his minutes.

Very proud of the team. If Henry goes 3-11 instead of 1-11 we win, as pathetic as that may sound.

i am sorry but henry cost us this game. i agree he got bumped and should have gone to the line a couple times at the end but he was beyond terrible all game. he and hopkins were a combined 2-18 and that is inexcusable. the hoyas handed those bunch of scrubs this game.

Is there any reasonable explanation as to why Hollis couldn't check in? Honestly. The horn sounded too early. Really.

Fellow Hoyas, stop whining about the refs. That's what losers do. We played well tonight and almost won.

Foul shots were even there at the end for each team. I'm assuming that's what your incomplete sentence was referencing.

BTW, how awesome were those clark 3s? He is so clutch. Too bad he was left with no help on the final possession. Lack of scorers really hurt us in the second half. We had only Clark and Otto, w/ Hollis disappearing (truly disappearing on the final possession) and Hank's rough night. Really needed that third guy. Whit is a talent but doesnt have much of an offensive game right now. I dont understand why we didnt try starks as that third option.

No moral victories, especially against that disgusting team. Very proud of our Hoyas, nonetheless.
Some horrible officiating and some very bad play by a senior starter (seriously, how many missed layups can you have? Please start dunking the ball.). Still should have won that game -- just too many missed opportunities down low.
I hope the boys build on this and go on a run. I would love to see Cuse in the BET. Absolutely love it.

Why did markel not play for most of the second half?

Why did markel not play for most of the second half? Probably because he jacked up 8 threes in the first half and only made one.
