In a comparison that will likely earn me some barbs from some of you, it is kind of like the way many of us down here view the SEC football championship in Atlanta -- it's the real world's heavyweight championship! Actually, in all honesty, I think the analogy is apt. |

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I have no idea how the regular season titles breakdown in the BE. I know how many championships each team has won though.

USF ties the score at 59 from a baseline three with seconds remaining, except that coach Stan Heath called a timeout moments earlier. (Cue the sad trombone.)

Why is ESPN playing Texas AM vs Colorado instead of Duke vs NC? I think that game is blacked out in ACC markets in favor of local channels. |

Why is ESPN playing Texas AM vs Colorado instead of Duke vs NC? It's blacked out in the DC area in favor of the Jefferson Pilot broadcast. Happens almost all the time. It's probably on local channel 20 (WDCA??) Be thankful you don't have to listen to Vitale for the next two hours should you decide to watch this game. |
