We've had at least 4 guys in since Johnson was hired - Cliff O, Sean Stewart, the kid you're talking about and a 2026 local prospect. I thought Cliff and Sean came through before KJ was officially onboard. Cooley also had a stop in with Cliff in New Jersey after he first entered the portal and Hoyas season was done. Who were the other two official visits? I completely missed them. KJ is still under restriction from off campus recruiting (I can't remember when that ends, but it is summertime, but after high school open play summer period). Yes, it was the '26 player, but I didn't recognize his school as local, but outside the DMV. That player wasn't an official visit as too early. But, still a recruiting visit. The bump of Acaden visit and needing to reschedule is a concern. Not having it quickly rescheduled is a larger concern. Acaden and his family showed very strong interest in becoming a Hoya and a player of that skill should get solid attention. Helping Acaden become a Hoya should be made as easy as possible. Increasingly looking like a wide open window has become one not as open. Jordan Scott also provided an update to On3 yesterday that did not include Georgetown in his list of schools. What do Acaden Lewis and Jordan Scott have in common? They do not play for Team Takeover. These are the kinds of things that happen when you hire Kenny Johnson.

Not worried yet, ON3 still has 6-7 PF still available and ahead of Stewart. Let’s go Cooley

Where is the official visit rescheduling for Acaden? Hoyas have had one recruiting visit since KJ officially came in and it was a player whose other top school recruiting them is Akron. Top notch recruiting lead? We've had at least 4 guys in since Johnson was hired - Cliff O, Sean Stewart, the kid you're talking about and a 2026 local prospect. Ha ha ha! Moron Noem's ever frantic attempts to justify killing poor little Cricket. "Where's Cricket?" cried her daughter. Suddenly Cricket has become Cujo! South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R), who has been under the microscope this week for an anecdote about killing her dog, defended her actions Wednesday, saying she shot the “dangerous” pup in order to protect her children. thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/4638343-kristi-noem-dog-shooting-defense-protect-children/

In a separate lawsuit filed on Wednesday, James, along with the attorneys general of Florida, Washington D.C., Virginia and Tennessee, challenged a rule from the NCAA that restricts "prospective student athletes' ability to earn money and benefit from their name, image, and likeness (NIL)" by preventing them from "reviewing NIL compensations offers before enrolling in a school," according to a press release from James's office. www.newsweek.com/letitia-james-ncaa-nil-lawsuit-1896323Now this is a great lawsuit against the NCAA NIL rules, it was obvious from the jump that NIL would be used as a recruiting tool so why not protect the kids by making it as transparent as possible?

I avoid this thread because every time I open it I end up contemplating dropping my season tickets.

Goober Comer's star witness! WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal appeals court on Wednesday rejected a bid to release from jail a former FBI informant who is charged with fabricating a multimillion-dollar bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden’s family. Alexander Smirnov ‘s lawyers had urged the California-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn a lower court judge’s order that the man remain behind bars while he awaits trial. But a three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit said the lower court was right to conclude Smirnov is a flight risk and there are no conditions of release that would reasonably assure he shows up in court. apnews.com/article/hunter-biden-alexander-smirnov-informant-detention-2a16e676657f32778b3efb31f259f109

Minor point, but I do not recall anybody who was "excited to see a guy transfer out [Brumbaugh] who was a top 100 recruit, transferred from Texas, is 6'4" 190 pounds, shot 37% from three point land in his freshman year and averaged 8.3 ppg, 2.6 apg, and 2.2 rpg in only 22.1 minutes/game." I don't think anybody was excited that he was going to leave. Instead, I think some people felt did not play at the level we wanted him to play at during his first year at Georgetown, and did not want a repeat of that next year. From this thread alone: thedragon, 3/20/24: "Lmao. Rowan was not a high major PG. If that wasn't obvious I don't know what to tell you. I'd be much more disappointed if Fielder left" This constitutes excitement? Even for Boya this is some bad faith. But you do you.
