Also, an excerpt from the cuse board that annoyed the hell out of me earlier: "Its boaring and even when they hammer someone they only score 70." (I loooove the spelling there.) It appears we trounced Harvard today and scored 87. Guess that theory goes out the window, huh? www.cuseorange.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10842 for more insightful commentary concerning G'town on the decline and talk of JT3's pending firing. Really, it's spelled "tier", unless you're talking about Cuse fans, crying, in which case it's spelled "tear".

This is clearly NOT last year's team (and that is a very good thing). This is one of the best quotes I've read on Hoyatalk in a while. Having not seen or heard this game, I'm wondering how we keep going over this rebound from ODU?

Best part about Chris' game today was the sheer number of layups he put up and steals he generated.

Excellent game. Many positives on both ends of the floor. Still too many turnovers and some other things to work on. This is clearly NOT last year's team (and that is a very good thing) . So True -- as many of us have been saying. On a related subjetc, in case anyone was wondering, "Yes, Virginia, the Hoyas DO have a Big Three." Greg 16 pts, 12 boards, 2 assists Austin 19 pts, 4 boards, 2 assists Chris 34 pts, 3 boards, 6 assists

Man, one thing I noticed today and against Washington. When Georgetown is clicking, I am not sure if there is another team in the country that is more effective at just completely taking another team out of what they want to do and disrupting them physically, mentally, emotionally and, hell, spiritually. It's really beautiful to watch (in a biology-class-fetal-pig sort of way). I, of course, credit the system. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Funny how we didn't hear comments like that when Flynn and Devenpunk were there last year, giving Syracuse a Final Four All-ugly squad! And given the fact that they were NIT level 2 straight years before last season, I would think they would have more to worry about in their own house.

Great win by the hoyas. The big three were HUGE! Still need to cut down the brain fart turnovers. The 11-0 run to end the first was quite impressive, as was greg's coast to coast dunk. Crowd was small, but tried hard. Keep up the good work hoyas. Please flush the johnies!

I didn't see the game, but I saw the box score. [sarcasm] I'm going to infer from the fact that we scored 86 and Chris scored 34 that we didn't run the system today. We just let the kids play. We should do that more. [sarcasm]

Glad to see someone raise a concern with the crowd size. I'm starting to worry already about the UCONN game. Really need non-student fans to step it up for that one, as it's falling 4 days before classes start. More fans, more noise.

More fans, more noise. i was pretty impressed by the fans today, especially (1) at noon on a wednesday, (2) with students out, and (3) two days before christmas the 100s were pretty much full ... more of a sit and clap than stand and scream crowd, but you expect that over winter break

Hey - anyone know if I can watch a replay of the game online? Or if MASN or anywhere else will replay the game in the DC area? Just got back to area after a hellish trip from NYC.

yeah very impressed/proud of the lowerbowl season ticket holders who showed up in impressive numbers. I held it down as best i could in the student section. but there were only 2 rows of students, so can't expect much.

Good effort overall...liked the defensive intensity..except for the first 8 min or so..good job Chris....and Jeremy Lin is the real deal...best player we have faced so far this year IMO
