I was able to pickup the video this half after not being able to pick up in the first so those that also experienced this issue may want to try it again.

There's no way we only had 6 TOs in the first half. That is some friendly scorekeeping there.
But we're forcing a truckload of them, which makes me smile very much.

awesome find underneath the basket from up top of the key. then on the miss by harvard austin leads a controlled (!) fast break ...draws his man in and passes off to chris for the layin.

But we're forcing a truckload of them, which makes me smile very much. got it from cbs. chvotkin has two more than cbs. with the two extra (if rich is correct and cbs is wrong), that's on pace for about average for us. plus, as you said, we're forcing many more than we're committing. To me, that's more important. that and the score ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Guru, I like Rich, but sometimes he doesn't actually have time or get the whole story. For example, he said at one point Freeman stole a ball when it was Vaughn but then the ball ended up in Freeman's hands. It's impossible to capture the whole game on radio.
Monroe was one rebound shy of a double-double in the first half. But more importantly, the intangibles were fantastic in the first half (which you obviously can't hear on the radio). I think there was one sequence where Monroe and Vaughn were under the basket with 3 other Harvard guys fighting for the bound. Monroe got it, missed a layup, then Vaughn got it and missed the put back, and finally Monroe got Vaughn's miss and put it in for 2. That's the type of hustle going on today (and that could account for some of his missed layups you are hearing Rich talk about).
The guys are really working well together right now. Freeman's fastbreak pass to Wright a minute ago was beautiful.

Monroe is really incredible today (in case I didn't already say that 10 times)! That dunk was sick. If JTIII keeps Monroe in the game, he could push 20 and 20 today. He already has 14 pts, 13 boards, 4 steals and 4 blocks.

monroe has had a MONSTER game. that said, one critique is that he is gambling on steals a lot. a problem because it has forced the defense to shift a couple times that has led to easy opportunities/offensive rebounding position.
when it works, it's been good but he's also been responsible for some of their easy buckets.

Rich's (I should say Evan's) stats are usually more accurate than all others.

20 pt lead...so the silly strip and 5-0 run by Harvard was inevitable to cut into that? Lets put this game away!

Chris Wright for THREE!!!
God, I hope that's something we'll be able to say more often. Wright is very close to being a complete threat, if he can make more of his outside shots.
(I like how I am critiquing Christ Wright, when he is leading all scorers with something like 25 points. I just realized my own silliness).

for those watching: regarding Chris, is this his best game since @ Syracuse last year? It sounds like he's playing pretty well, scoring wise and assist wise..

This is great. I love how all the players are getting quality minutes this game. IMO, this is what needs to be done in order to keep guys happy.
Also, love how the offense is working and not getting shots up early in the shot clock. No need to hold the ball for 30 seconds and jack a shot at the end of the clock. This way we get more shot attempts per game, players can score more points, and the offense can be more polished because it is getting more work.
Love the way we bounced back after a disappointing loss too.

Wright is playing great. Harvard can't hang with him at all.
Career high 28 so far.
Of course, that doesn't stop me from critiquing. (see above).
Oh, and Greg Monroe? 16 pts, 14 rebs, 6 blocks (and at least a couple of steals; not sure about assists).
