FlashForward - If Lost is an Oreo, this is a Hydrox cookie. They copied everything from Lost and made a show that left me with no questions other than "Was that really Seth McFarlane? What was he doing in it?"
Modern Family - Good family comedy.
Community - Has potential.
Cougartown - My wife wanted to try it, it was terrible.
Glee - Ugh, just ugh. Decent pilot, horrible series, more campy than the 1960's Adam West Batman.

I've been enjoying Community so far. I felt the first episode was a little inconsistent, but enjoyed last night very much. It's no Seinfeld, but it has some interesting characters that I find myself caring about already.
I watched Cougartown, mainly since Bill Lawrence (Scrubs) is the exec producer. I didn't think it was terrible, but I also don't see how it has the legs to make it. It's a one-note joke SNL skit premise, and it needs a little more to actually make it.

Community was pretty funny last night, if at times trying way too hard. The little rap at the end was awesome.
Cougartown is just a sign that the phrase cougar jumped the shark about four years ago when my mom started using it.

Community killed me last night. Maybe because I think Chevy Chase is hilarious even when he isn't doing anything at all, but that last scene with their spanish skit was amazing.

I watch very little regular network TV programming in the fall (football and cable shows like "Sunny" dominate my attention), but I will make one prediction:
With "The Cleveland Show," Seth McFarlane will officially strap on the waterskis and aim toward the lagoon with the sharks in it.
Family Guy has been going steadily downhill after the first season it came back. I still love American Dad, but there are very few new episodes (and no one else seems to watch it). This new show has disaster written all over it.
EDIT: Wow, I am really not doing anything today, am I. I just looked and I have the most recent comment on about the top 9 threads on this page. I should really work a little bit. Or not.

I'm not watching Cleveland for one reason: the change to Cleveland, Jr. He was one of my favorite characters on Family Guy, and for some reason they turned him into some kind of fat little thug. I don't get that decision. And it really sours me on the show.

Does Family Guy still make fun of other tv shows for being stagnant and repetitive? I'm curious because I stopped watching when it became stagnant and repetitive.

Was the end of the skit an homage to The Rock? The only thing is that the general plotline is mindboggling obvious, and hopefully, they don't go down the obvious roads as the series progresses.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Glee is awesome. This week's episode was perhaps the best yet. And Jane Lynch is hilarious.

I watched 2/3 of the Community episode last night and I thought CC was a parody of himself, not very funny, and I am a CC fan. I really didn't think the whole episode was funny. I missed the rap at the end, because I turned it off.
It will be a long fall season waiting for Lost to come back (and then go away for good).

It was pretty obvious, but perhaps because it's only the second episode it didn't bother me. I don't know that it was an intentional send up of the Rock, but all the props and costumes, done with no dialogue at all, broke me up.

As long as G4 keeps running 12 Monkeys, I will just keep watching in 5–10 minute bits, all along trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Seriously, I've been watching bits and pieces of this movie for about a month and still find myself flipping by thinking "Well, I've never seen this scene before, so might as well watch some more."

I had to fastforward past the part where the offensive line started dancing to Single Ladies because it was just so stupid. Other than the anal retentive teacher, there's not even one likable supporting character on the show.

If that were really the criteria, none of us would watch "Sunny".

I love Time Bandits as well. A kids movie that works at any age is hard to find.

Second episode of Cougartown last night was considerably better than the pilot. Still not convinced that it will be able to last since the premise is about four years too late and isn't very funny, but I might be able to at least enjoy it if they continue to put together scenes like the photo collage of Jules' night out.
