williams right now is a defensive and board monster...his offensive game is steadily improving....I'll be extremely excited if we land him....the missing piece IMHO I know we're kind of getting off topic now, but i dont think i mind that Williams isnt an offensive specialist. It seems that this years teams has a bunch of guys who are really really good offensive players but none that are willing to just focus on rebounds and blocks and all the dirty work (like pat) so if that is what Williams is good at that would be great in my opinion.

Williams coming would be great news b/c we are really thin in the frontcourt. Also, I hope Dajuan gets to play his natural position, the 3 next year. If we can keep everyone, but Sapp to graduation, add Hollis, Williams, and a serviceable backup pg, we will be SICK! Glad the staff is addressing the frontcourt tho and hopefully another ball handler b/c Chris is the only one who I trust to break a press or handle any type of pressure. Of course, other players can spend the summer working on their handles too!

To be fair, we won 2 Big East titles without ANYBODY I was comfortable with breaking the press.
Anyway, hope Hollis enjoyed the Nova game. Can't wait to see him suit up next season.

Now that DS is coming back I would think the staff had to tell him he'd be at the 3 almost exclusively. Its his position. He hasn't taken to the 4 in two years, so he prob won't. If Williams comes aboard and Roscoe D as well then he'd be able to play the 3 exclusively. Ideally, RD, LW and VE would be nice.

Next year we need to cut down on the TOs to go far.

pr,
No doubt, but its obviously where he's more comfortable there and is where he'll play in the league. Whatever league that is.

And since JR is my favorite Hoya of the JTIII era, I hope that bodes well.

videos are on first page. rivals gave hollis recognition as a top 5 ball handler at his position for class of 2009. I see him playing the wing/SF spot for us. i like his height/length for that position. "Wiry" type of scorer inside who is known to be a good shooter. Strength will be the major concern. Hopefully getting to GTOWN earlier has has been able to bulk up and get used to BE level athletes. Can anyone comment on his defense/rebounding?
