Carlos is the moderator/administrator of the Georgetown rivals site, HoyaReport.com. He's a good guy, I first got to know him during the dark days of 2003 when Esherick was around. I used to have a subscription over there when I followed recruiting more closely but I've become more of a casual observer on the recruiting scene now.

rdf you know this isn t true. carlos reported it before the info was posted here. Stop it. I'm not trying to start anything--and you are 100% DEAD WRONG on this. Look at the timeline of things-- Gotta back up RDF again on this one. He sent me a PM about Hollis transferring days before anyone else brought it up here or on HT. RDF got the info from balla and told me not to panic when it all went down. No need to argue about it. Both sites provide excellent information. Peace.

Oh man, there's no way my life can possibly sustain a second Hoya website. I'm just going to have to wait for someone to bring the news over here...when there is news.

No need to argue about it. Both sites provide excellent information. Peace. Exactly MCI. We Hoya faithful should be saving/using our ammo on 'Cuse, Calhoun and other worthy (or not) opponents!

rdf you know this isn t true. carlos reported it before the info was posted here. Stop it. I'm not trying to start anything--and you are 100% DEAD WRONG on this. Look at the timeline of things--Carlos was scheduled to go to the scrimmage to watch him play at DeLaSalle and Balla mentioned Thompson was leaving the Bay area. This post wasn't intended to start anything, so why go there? What a PUNK you have become. wow i have always been fair with you, especially when you have crossed the line. but if you want to be jerk about it, go for it. was wondering when you were going to attack me for my balla comment over on hoyareport. i wasn t throwing knives at anyone; merely pointing out that when info isn t always right there is no need to attack the messanger. as sometimes information changes. guess you couldn t see the message in there...

Who is this "Carlos" character? From what I understand, absolutely no one! ....waits for some stranger from HoyaReport to come on the board and tell me to keep their name out of my mouth. Darn cyber thugs.... keep your $9.95 a month. god knows at that price you wouldn t want to over extend your lube allowance...

I'm sure we'll get an update on Hollis situation once Balla posts again. Just be patient. Nobody else mentioned him leaving to GA--and we got the info--so once he posts again--I'm certain he'll elaborate. rdf you know this isn t true. carlos reported it before the info was posted here. perhaps i did get the timeline mixed up. but my point was you again ran down the other site even tho the insiders there ( who are more on top of things than you will ever be ) had the info too.

MOD NOTE: this is a thread about Hoya recruit Hollis Thompson, not for arguing about who got what information first. Further sniping posts (in this thread and others) will be deleted without warning.

Seriously guys, I'm with jgalt on this. I come to this subforum every time there's a notice that there's a new posting to see info about the recruits, not a Editeding match about who has more information or whose posts are ad hominem or who unnecessarily escalated stuff. Either do that over PM, or create a new thread where you guys can debate those things so other posters know what to skip.

I agree. This forum is for discussion of Hollis Thompson and should remain exclusive to that topic. However, I also feel that those who are right need be defended, and so I will say that enj, whoever you are, please stop needlessly attacking RDF, one of the most popular and respected members of this board. Until you demonstrate half as much, you will never win that battle. RDF was not being a "jerk" and you yourself then proceeded to be one... That is all.
Also, to not risk this thread being locked up, because I would like updates on Hollis to be provided, I would like to say that I think Hollis is good... And... I like him. Also, I'm sure his decision to move to Atlanta is a good one. (Yes... that should do...)

"It was certainly not a basketball issue," Allocco said. "I just hope he gets some stability. He's a great kid."
I sure hope this doesn't grow into an eligibility issues - either with grades or too many schools or issues over required courses.

I sure hope this doesn't grow into an eligibility issues - either with grades or too many schools or issues over required courses. I highly doubt that KC. Hollis is an EXTREMELY bright kid and an excellent student. Again, the issue is his Dad taking a job across the country. That's what his former coach meant by stability. I'm just saying that sometimes it has nothing to do with kid. Moving from LA to NoCal to the ATL in the space of a couple of months during his senior year of high school makes the possibility of something happening more likely. I hope not.

I don't think anyone is concerned about the grades. It's getting the proper number of credits and making sure all the classes meet NCAA requirements. Which has little to do with Hollis and a lot to do with the schools.
Luckily, I'm certain DLS knows what it is doing. I hope the ATL school does, too.

I'm sure JT3 and staff are keeping an eye (and helping) on the credits' situation.
