This is the longest thread about a player's father's job prospects that I've ever seen.

At which HS in the ATL area did Hollis end up? By the way, speaking of Georgia high school hoops check www.hoyabasketball.net. Not sure if this has been pointed out before - if so I apologize. Also not sure if this is a new nickname for Harrison HS's teams, perhaps in keeping with their new boy's varsity basketball coach.

Nevermind, got my answer.
Great to have him onboard, and hope he is enjoying life on campus!

What great experience that will be for him--on many levels. Having him practice with the team and get comfortable will be HUGE for next year.

Was Hollis sitting behind the Hoya bench in a grey pullover? Who was the tall recruit with a Montrose Christian sweater on sitting next to this same guy?

Brian O'Kam possibly? Listed 6'10 255. Class of 09.
(Edited to not add more clutter to Hollis Thread Jgalt - O'Kam isn't listed on the Montrose website but is on some scouting sites. Not sure if he is still on the team.)
Either him or maybe Jordan Omogbehim. 7'1 235 class of 11.

I havent seen the kid from Montrose, but looking at their roster the two tallest kids who arent committed are T.jordan "yes that is how you spell it" Omogbehin (7-1 soph) and Dadrian Collins (6-5 Sr. 0 stars on rivals, for what that is worth, and no mention of GU). But im not a "recruiting guru" so that info is rudementary. maybe this guy is the secret piece to the championship balla talkas about!

I think the "secret piece" that balla was talking about (I think he termed it as "interesting news") was Hollis's early enrollment.

I think the "secret piece" that balla was talking about (I think he termed it as "interesting news") was Hollis's early enrollment. Possible but i think balla said it wasnt. I guess we will have to wait a few months until he is done counting ballots in Minnesota to find out ;D

Question: Is hollis the type of kid thats going to come in here and pick up the offense quicker like a monroe or clark or later like a sims? Id assume practicing with the team now cant hurt, but do you guys think hes an impact freshman from game one or hes more like a sims thats going to take a year or two to get going?

He is a very smart kid. He should take quick to this offense and this semester will be tremendous head start. He'll prob get more minutes than Jason is getting now for his freshmen season.

I think his early enrollment and subsequent practice time take him from feeling his way through the season to early major role.
