Could it be Troy Daniels? He's a 6'3 3-star from Roanoke. Would fit the description. Google him and see if the images match.

Nevermind. That's exactly who it is. Just googled him and the Roanoke newspaper had a blurb about him visiting Gtown this weekend. I like it. Somebody actually rated on Rivals who is being recruited by power conference schools and a good shooter.

yeah it looks like he blew up in the eyes of scouts this year, his team beat Travis Mckie's team in the state playoffs, he had a huge playoff run scoring wise as welllooks like he has looks from Cincy, Marquette, Va tech, UVA, Gonzaga(yeah the one in Spokane). Looks like the mid-majors were looking at heavy until now...offers from Coastal Carolina, Radford and Marshall as well listed.
Edit: reading more info from other sites, supposedly he shot really well at some AAU events this summer and blew up because of it...exhibiting NBA range with his J, but most say he definitely needs to bulk up

Well this weekend is a good weekend for anyone to visit- not only is the weather perfect, but T-Pain is performing (if you dont know who that is, dont worry about it, just know he's a popular musical artist). Just saw basically the whole team walking over to McD for the concert. Should be a good time.

April 17 Lexington Herald-Leader column: www.americanchronicle.com/articles/yb/128800002-- Lexington Catholic basketball star Vee Sanford is making an official visit to Georgetown University this weekend. While he's in the Washington, D.C., area, he might make an unofficial stop at George Mason. That's the word from Vince Sanford, Vee's father, who said his son is planning an official visit to Baylor next week. Georgia might also be on his visit list. He's still figuring out whether to make an official visit to Iowa, Central Florida, Charlotte or South Florida. Vee's leading candidates? "He really likes Georgetown and Baylor," Vince said.

Looks like III has his options and is taking his time for this combo guard spot, and that's a great thing.
Confident he'll pick out the right one.

yes he is. ideally i thinkwe need/want a combo guard who is more of a point than shooting guard.

I say shooting guard more than point. We already have a point guard, we just need another ball handler- which is hopefully where these guys have some point guard skill, and we desperatly need another shooter. Hopefully Chris, Austin, Thompson, and Clark are all working very hard in this area in the offseason.

I would go for a SG more, but it is more important that who ever it is will understand their role in the offense. The guard chemistry was lacking this year, especially with all the starting roster moves.

The guy needs to handle and shoot and play D.
But handle is the most important. We need more than one ballhandler, or every time Chris goes to the bench is going to be a disaster.

So is the hunt for any '09 players/Juco's/transfers officially over you think? Is our roster more or less set for next season?

I would say probably yes. The staff has been known to surprise everyone, but I would be fairly shocked if we signed anyone else for next year.

I simply can not believe that we are done. We really should be looking for a Juco 4. The handle comment above is also very important.
