I additionally have a sneaking suspicion it will be shown on FX at some point after the network coffers have been filled. Ding, ding, ding, ding! At the very latest, you will see it on free TV a year from now. Battlestar Galactica suckered me on this with "The Plan." I'm not falling for that twice.

At the temple Game there were two Georgetown students in blue and gray Green man costumes in the studnet section. But I haven't seen them since. I hope they become regulars.

I have heard from those who have seen it that it goes well beyond the limits of good taste that even the FX network must abide by on free cable. Needless to say, I am excited to see if it ends up in my stocking.

FX is selling Flipadelphia T-Shirts on its website. I'm very excited by this development.

Burn Notice is a good show, but Michael Westen is a turrible character portrayed by a guy who can't act his way out a paper bag. I could see Fiona or Sam making a list of "best characters on tv", but Westen?
Where are Rayland Givens and Shawn Spencer?

I've watched Sunny off and on over the years, but never fully got into it. Over the summer, however, I took full advantage of the Comedy central two-hour blocks of re-runs, and am now fully hooked. I absolutely cannot wait!
I want Charlie to be my lawyer.

I want Charlie to be my lawyer. One of my favorite scenes ever: The Attorney: This family behind me has 90 days to vacate. Until then, you can't touch them.
Charlie Kelly: Let me handle this, Frank. It's not bullbird. He's making a few good points. Look, buddy. I know a lot about the law and various other lawyerings. I'm well educated. Well versed. I know that situations like this- real estate wise- they're very complex.
The Attorney: Actually, they're pretty simple. The forms are all standard boiler plate.
Charlie Kelly: Okay. Well, we're all hungry. We're gonna get to our hotplates soon enough, alright? Let's talk about the contract here.
The Attorney: I'm sorry, I forgot. Where did you go to law school again?
Charlie Kelly: I could ask you the very same question...
The Attorney: [interrupting] I went to Harvard.
Charlie Kelly: [incoherent mumbling]
The Attorney: What?
Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th, sir.
The Attorney: I wouldn't advise you do that.
Charlie Kelly: And I'll take that advise under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?
The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law. Seems like you have a tenuous grasp on the English language in general.
Charlie Kelly: [more mumbling] ... Filibuster...
The Attorney: Do you know what that word means?
Charlie Kelly: [after a long, stammering pause, Charlie screams and crashes through what's left of the door]
;D Tonight's episode should spark a nice Hoyatalk gay marriage debate tomorrow.

I guess I'll be the first one to say it. Disappointing first episode last night. Hopefully it picks up soon. Season 5 was amazing, this episode paled in comparison. I have faith that it'll pick up.

I agree. I don't think it sucked. It had its moments. And that's what great about this show. Even the episodes that aren't that good still have some great moments. But overall? Mezzo-mezzo at best. Plus, was it a cliffhanger? Or is Dennis' wife going to be a new regular character. I didn't get that. The episode just sort of.....well, ended. I thought The League premiere was very funny, but I hold that show to a much lower standard than I hold Sunny to.

I rewatched it today and it was definitely better the second time around. There are definitely some good parts. And it's one of those to be continued episodes they've done a couple of them through out the seasons. Next week's episode is the continuation. Next week's episode is called Dennis gets Divorced so I don't think we'll have to deal with his wife for very long.
Denis talking about having feeling's again was pretty damn funny. I think part of it was season 5 was so good and the previews looked so good for this season and we'd been waiting so long that there was no way this episode was going to live up to expectations.
Oh by the way I went to Mac's tavern when in philly this summer and was disapointed. Mainly because it wasn't at all like patty's pub it was all classy and nice. They did have a door marked "pirate" though and a couple of menu items named after things from the show, but besides that you'd never know it was connected to the show.
