Clemens is a liar and an idiot. Also, I am an idiot. I was young at the time, but my favorite card was (aside from the autographed Ryne Sandberg '85 All-Star card) either the Mark McGuire USA Baseball Topps rookie, or the Mark McGuire Donruss Rookie. Stupid me. That McGwire rookie card in the USA team uniform was absolutely the hottest card in the industry back in '98 when he and Sosa were in the quest for 61. It was absolutely ridiculous. I think it wen from something like $12 to $150 in a few months. I sure wish I had sold any and all of them back then. It will be quite some time, before it gets that high again ... if ever!

I don't know much about pharmacology, but I would like to propose an asterisk next to the name of any player who develops a third ear in the middle of his forehead during his playing career.

Does Chuck Knoblauch, by any chance, live alone in a cabin somewhere, perhaps with a bunch of severed heads in his freezer? Dude is a nutter. sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3191472Also, Pat Hruby brought up a good point the other day (with the assistance of two docs, one from Georgetown). Why would anyone inject lidocaine in their ass for anything except ass pain?
