Four words for you, exorcist:
Post March Madness Hangover
Welcome to the party, Suz. You showed up right after the keg got kicked but before people want to leave.

The Minivan Crew Theme I see Dads all the time hiding their face, Driving their vans while full of disgrace. I drive my van with pride - fist in the air, I crank Lori Berkner without a care. Aint no halfsteppin' when it comes to my ride, 3 rows of seating and side doors that glide. You can keep your sports car that costs muy dinero, I got my Ford van with a 6 year loan at zero. Check check the rhythm, check check the rhyme, Dora, Zaboomafoo and Baby Einstein. Dads of the world, I'm talking to you! Raise your fist and join the Minivan Crew! WHAT UP! You Sir, are the Nodak of the Minivan elite!!! I toast you, from one of the drinks held in one of my 15 cupholders!! yo double, thank you for my compliment. if someone would post a pic of going to a sonic in a minivan, this thread would be legendary.

Never, ever again. And I am telling Mrs. Doublehoya what you think about her minivan. You are on the list, Cam. You're just mad because I put your picture in my avatar. Get over it. Don't go posting pics of your vacation to St. Petersburg and try to pretend that they are of me!

I tried, but my GIS failed -- "Sonic in a minivan" brought up some odd stuff, but unfortunately, no pics of a minivan at a Sonic. That said, I did find a blog where some guy was complaining about the fact that they advertise Sonic in NYC, despite the fact that there isn't a sonic within 150 miles of there!

Can someone please explain to me the origins of "Schrutebag" fer chrissake?!
I know who Dwight Schrute is - the greatest TV character since "GOB" Bluth. And I know this somehow started with Colin Cowherd, I think.
But how did one of the four all time top TV asskickers get associated with a word that carries such negative connotations?
I'm a member of the Dwight Army of Champions... and REALLY Editeded I changed my avatar away from Dwight a month or so ago. Now ExciteableBoy's got it and I'm screwed.

All this minivan talk has turned quite sad. This thread has become a shell of itself from its prime, which was about 2 or 3 hours ago. I long for those days. (Sigh)
Last one to leave, turn out the lights.

I'm still not buying that it was the real Buffalo Hoya who posted the now-famous "reveal" this morning.
I'm pretty sure the real Buffalo Hoya was passed out somewhere outside of Duff's Wings at the time that message was posted.
I'll bet if I check the security tapes from Arpil 12, 8-11 p.m., at HSBC Arena, they'll confirm my theory that Buffalo Hoya was way too plastered last night to wake up this morning and log on to Hoyatalk.

(Sigh) Last one to leave, turn out the lights. The prime was pp. 6-8 -- starting with Bando's "You win, Buff" at post 100, then onto YB's canonization press conference, the scissors reference, and YB's eruption. Good times. Seems like only yesterday.

Four words for you, exorcist: Post March Madness Hangover Welcome to the party, Suz. You showed up right after the keg got kicked but before people want to leave. Did I mention I brought the jello shots? ;D This minivan talk is a bit much, even for me. And it's really scary that I know WTF Zaboomafoo is. In my mommy-car Camry we're cranking Sesame Street songs these days--right now, I've got Big Bird singing "The Farmer in the Dell" running through my head..... AAAAAHHHHHH .... I may have to go out driving by myself tonight and listen to some Eminem.

Unfortunately, I had all of two beers last night. Had to be at a closing I was running outside Roch-a-cha at 8:30, so I kept the booze to a minimum. But said client is having me in their suite for the Saturday game, and the CFO who's taking a few of us is a complete lush... so check the HSBC security tapes for April 14, around 10pm for some entertainment.

This thread is hilarious -- it is like a party where some of your friends are single and some are married and have kids, and all the people with kids have babysitters and they never get out, so at some point (early page 12, I'd say) "the keg is kicked" and all the single young friends are off to bed (party's over, there will be another tomorrow night), but the parents have their babysitters, and just don't know the next time they will get to have this much fun again (months?? longer? ), so they are breaking out the 15 year old bottle of bailey's, or whatever's left in the back of liquor cabinet because they are just not going to let the fun stop yet!! See My behavior at the BET.

For the Minivan crew:
Renault stick a 700hp F1 engine in their Espace minivan, just for the heck of it:
Historic minivan racing (or people carriers, as they call them in the UK):
The same TV show makes a convertible minivan:

I'm seriously thinking about going out this weekend and buying a minivan because of this thread.
After that, how do I join?
Is there some sort of jump-in process wherein all the original crew beat me up or, preferably, take the wood to my brand new minivan?
Do I have to kill an old, hoopty minivan?
Has anyone figured out what sort of obscure hand signals or graffiti tags represent the minivan set? Perhaps an inverted baby-on-board triangle?
