I'm pretty sure Syracuse doesn't even have a library. Probably not, though I'm pretty sure they do have a "li-berry." Unlike Duke. I've been told by certain ESPN personalities that basketball players, students & fans alike, no one is even allowed to step foot on the Durham campus unless they got 1600 on their SATs.

GO BINX GO!! YOU CAN DOOO IT! Although far less difficult that what you are probably going through right now, just finished my two hour history final. My wrist is only slightly sore. Two classes down, three more to go, which for interested parties encompasses: -a five-page Political Theory take-home midterm due Thurs -a Criminology final on Blackboard, that's right, online final, baby, that I need to complete by Sunday -two papers of five and three pages, respectively, due Monday for my Ethics & IR class (great class, by the way) And finally, it's cool that you saw Guibunda in the library late at night. Do you think any of the so called student-athletes at, oh, say, SYRACUSE, have ever seen a library? ;D Ethics and IR is a good class. It sounds like you have Winters...

I guess the most noteworthy thing that happened during any of the finals weeks at GU was that I learned to juggle right in my room in New South. One of the baseball players taught us. Maybe there were other more interesting events, but the number of years and my amazingly shrinking memory adds to this void.
Anyway, good luck to all the Hoyas (students, student athletes, etc.)

During my procrastination at Yates, I saw Ray Reed shooting on one of the main court baskets with a trainer (could have been an assistant coach, not familiar with them yet). In the 10 minutes I saw them, they did nothing but shoot flat-footed set shots in the lane. Maybe for his arch? I dunno.

I saw Ray last night as well. It was the second time I had seen him there working out with that guy, and no, he's not an assistant coach.
Ray seems to be working on his shot a lot though. They are using one of those things you put on a rim to make it smaller and thus harder to make baskets.
He's been practicing coming off screens and shooting, pivoting forward to make room and then shooting, and various ways to take shots while focusing on improving form. Keep up the hard work Ray.

Online finals interest me too.

The department is Sociology, and the prof is McDonald.

It's in the sociology department, but I didn't like the class very much. It had a little too much statistics for me, and I found the lectures pretty boring. The only redeeming part of the class for me was the occassional wackiness of Professor McDonald, who would wander off topic and make strange jokes that only he would laugh at.
But the class is fairly easy and the Blackboard final is pretty sweet.

Good luck in all your finals, everyone. Remember, Quick Pita is open until 4 a.m. Nothing gets the brain into overdrive better than a Gyro & Cheesesteak.

Blackboard is worse than sin.
-Jimmy, not a BB fan and a high school student who should be preparing for his own exams.

Always got the special, a sort of gyro-like thing with french fries inside it and enough garlic to make you taste it for six months.

I would always go for, not when sober of course, Cap's. That ridiculously garlicy pizza would create heartburn that still makes me shudder. And the enourmous delivery guy would recomend his favorite soft-core porn and then shake us down for huge tips. Then again, it was the only place that delivered at 5am.

Ok out of boredom this will be my 25 page countdown. I will update this post whenever a page is completed in pursuant of the final goal. All the working alumni can laugh at me when they check the boards in the morning. 10 pages to go 9 pages to go 2:22 AM 8 pages to go 3:20 AM Left library at 3:40, Saw Cornelio in one of the rooms studying something after 3 hour nap, ensuing shower and bagel I return the the library to find it just as empty as I left it 7 pages to go 8:28 6 pages to go 10:00, the sun has shown its face for the first time in a few days 4 pages to go 12:07 JEFF GREEN BE POTW! 1-2 pages to go 1:05 On a 25 paper is it ok to only write 23? I feel like a less than 10% deviation from the mark is acceptable. Time to read over the past 40 hours work for the first time.....this could be bad 1 page to go at 3:00 pm, rereading turns out that the paper is only half bad. Need to write a paragraph or two tying things together and a bibliography. Almost there OK i finished that paper at exactly 5 oclock, the time it was due. Then proceeded to the TOMBS to get housed. Good times. I just fully recovered about an hour ago. Hoyaboy, good luck, A 25 page paper is something i would not wish upon my worst enemy

Good luck, hoyaboy. This could be a candidate for the post of the year if you throw in a "FormerHoya" stunt and do after-hours at the Tomb's to get rid of some writer's block.
