With Dunn seemingly not happening, how about Demarr Langford transfer from BC? Not much of a shooter, but an experienced player with two years eligibility, good positional size. Should be able to contribute on defense, rebound, move the ball. Providence offered back in the day.

Can you imagine? Actually kicking someone off a roster instead of silly coincidences? It would be an absolutely shameful thing to do at this point in the off season especially given all the glowing reports on how Pitino & staff found just the right mix of players this off season. Slick Rick won’t hesitate to boot someone.

So it seems to me there is actually a disadvantage to bring the first in with an NIL offer, unless it is so huge that no one else will match it. If not, you are just "starting the bidding" and other programs can up the price AND claim that you do not really value the player. Even if you then up your offer, now you had clearly tried to cheap out on the first offer. If you really want a kid, wait out the competition and come in with the highest number. But you have to get the kid in the portal first so you have to indicate your interest somehow.

Cam Spencer would be a great add. But definitely I’ll believe it when I see it. It seems like every recruiting cycle there is someone who is definitely going to transfer to Georgetown per unnamed sources and then it doesn’t happen. We’ll see.

Averaging 10.1 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 1.3 bpg, 54.9% fgp, 63.4% ftp in EYBL games for Team Final so far this spring. nikeeyb.com/standingsNot sure those are re-class worthy numbers, but definitely a very good big man get in the class of 2024. Congrats to Thomas and the Hoyas coaching staff! I think that is why he is waiting until after the Peach Jam this summer to fully decide and commit to one year or the other. If he can dominate and roll against other '23s then it's totally up to him, I just hope he chooses what's best for him and he gets good advice at home and from Cooley. Wouldn’t he have to have graduated or have the credits to graduate? Seems like something his HS coach would know about and he says on Twitter he’s not reclassifying. Regardless, he should do what’s right for him and we should be looking at a transfer/grad transfer big to bridge the gap.

Where do you see this? I guess i had assumed this since he’s been in college four years with one transfer but his comments today make me worried isn’t a grad transfer and would need a waiver… He is set to graduate next week from K-State. See page 49. www.k-state.edu/graduation/ceremonies/program/2023-Spring-Commencement.pdfImagine if Georgetown was this transparent. (Maybe going forward?) Nice detective work!

Looks like he’s is a grad transfer, in case others were wondering, too, and thus should be eligible right away… Where do you see this? Looks like he is. I am interested to see how this is gonna work unless Akok Akok is not coming here. Massoud is gonna be playing some SF. Massoud and Akok can play together. Massoud seems like more of a wing than a big.

Pitino wastes absolutely no time setting his sights on Ware. Interesting to see if Coach Cooley makes a move. Pitino has publicly stated that they are looking for a backup center and that they’ve basically built this team around Joel Soriano. Rick is obviously a great recruiter so maybe he’ll try to sell Ware on playing PF but it would be tough in this day and age to play two players who really need to be around the basket and have no perimeter game. Hopefully Ware doesn’t fall for that but who knows? We’ll see if we reach out.

Lance Ware would be a good get. Two years of eligibility. Can play 4/5. Completements Akok as a dunker/rebounder.

Kyle Cuffe Jr transferring from Kansas. From NYC, Cooley offered from Providence. Was at Kansas two years but basically didn’t get on the floor due redshirt and injury.

"Dickinson later said Kentucky, Kansas, Maryland and Villanova have all been trying “really hard” to earn his commitment, but added that “one has been trying harder than the others.” While he wouldn’t confirm which school that was, he did unofficially announce those were the four schools he is seriously considering moving forward. In short, Georgetown is out — sources tell KSR the Hoyas heard they were no longer being considered Tuesday morning." www.on3.com/teams/kentucky-wildcats/news/hunter-dickinson-will-not-announce-his-college-decision-today/Great, let’s leave this clown show behind and get on with building a team.

Guessing Howard, American, George Mason or GW moreso than Georgetown or Maryland. Geronimo would be fun to yell if nothing else! Watched some highlights; he’d be a solid add and fits the mold of a major conference player with multiple years of eligibility. Solid numbers for 13 mins per game. Averaged .9 blocks in 12.4 min per game.

I wonder what the deal with Mahkel Mitchell. As far as I can tell, he entered the portal but his brother didn’t. Solid numbers in limited minutes at Arkansas. Might want to finish his career back home. But who knows if he’s graduating with all of the transferring…

Anyone see any updates on D’ante? I like his skill set and actually think he’d be a good fit for how Coach Cooley plays. Anyone know if he is still on campus, etc?

I'm not an elite scout especially with a small sample but based on what's on youtube, looks to me like a big pretty significant talent difference between Ndongo and the kid from NMSU, Traore. Traore is fine as a 12th or 13th man to stash at the end of the bench and hope he grows into a player over 3 years, but the odds are that he is never good enough to crack a rotation. Ndongo, based on a small sample, looks like somebody who could potentially be in the rotation by next season. 6'10 looks generous to me, but he looks like he could be a pretty nice PF. Word on Kante seems to be that he might have had issues getting into Michigan, but that it may be TOEFL related? Not sure how that might play at Georgetown. Agreed. I watched a video on Ndongo; he looks like he can play.
