Not a great night for Otto. 28 mins, 1-10, 0-2 three point, 4 pts, 4 rbs Hollis was good. 21 mins. 5-5, including 3-3 from three. 15 pts, 3 rbs Henry was ok. fg% was terrible but he hustled. 24 mins. 3-15. 6 pts, 10 rbs.

hoyazeke I hear you! Not saying that's what i'd like to see, just saying that if I had to put money on it that would be my guess. What i'd like to see: DSR Bril White Ike Smith Peak and Hop first off the bench, Reggie next. White would have to be playing great in order for both he and Ike to start. I don't see that happening till sophomore year. Think peak will start before him. blueandgray - i said that's what I would like to see, not what I thought was likely to happen.

Given JT3's history of riding guys who have seen consistent minutes for him ( Nate, Jerelle, Hop, etc), my prediction is:
DSR Bril Bowen Hopkins Smith
EArly substitutions of Reggie, Ike and LJ

Eh - stats typically are a good measure of a players success, and a great baseline to compare a players improvement. Take it as you will, but Nate is basically giving us the same contribution that he gave us as a freshman. I personally think that he adds a lot, but you cant ignore the fact that he hasn't improved much.

Josh is on the heavy side but not nearly as heavy as he was when he left UCLA. Moved really well, good footwork, soft touch, rebounded well on the offensive glass. Dominant when he felt like being dominant. I think that's going to be the problem with him - making sure he's engaged and plays hard all the time. If he can give us 25-30 mins a game we are going to love him. Definitely our best big.
