Lic, this guy is 6' 9" and he is dubbed as "one of the largest kids in the Class of 2008"...if that is any consolation. The reality is that there are NO real good 7 footers available for 08'. GU has to get guys like Goode and Dunigan. Monroe can play wherever he wants.

If I recall, there was an article the GU was recruiting Jamil Wilson from Wisconsin.

lots of good wings for GU to go after. Armwood and vinson are also ranked high.
I have never even heard of Dante Taylor. The DC area is loaded with wings in 09'. That is why it is so important to get bigmen in 08:
Monroe Goode Dunigan Gillgrest

The listed heights of these guys are all over the place. Dunigan has always been 6'9. Now he is being listed at 6'10-6'11. I hope he has really grown(LOL).

I think it is clear that they are looking for a physical, aggressive, power player, i.e. Morgan, Dunnigan, Goode, and to an extent Davis and Monroe. Between Gilchrist , Morgan, Dunnigan, and Goode, who do you like the best? Dunigan is more highly regarded now, but who has the most upside. I have seen Morgan, and I think he needs a lot of work. Plus I do not think Morgan has that much upside. I have not seen the other 3 yet.

There are various reports on his height. Is he 6'8 or 6'10?

Is TERRANCE BOYD from OK? Does he just play AAU for DC?
I saw all of teh Monroe vs Davis game. Boo Williams' team was loaded Monroe's team was not very good. Davis played better, but Monroe is clearly the better player. More importantly Monroe has more upside.
Does anyone know if Wally Judge really already has an offer? I would think that he would be the first player offered for 09, but who knows. There are a lot of good wings on the GU radar for 09.
I hear that Ishaia Armwood had a good weekend playing at the UVA tourny.

There are a lot of good wings in the 09 class for GU. So the last spots in 08' should be for Bigs...

It is hard to figure out what PSAs really have offers from GU. Scout and Rivals are usually behind in that area.

From Rivals.
Just like that, Beas Hamga became a very popular player on the recruiting front. The 7-foot center from Decatur (Ill.) Christian is ahead of the pace academically and barring an unforeseen denial by the NCAA Clearinghouse, he will be a 2007 graduate.
He favors Kentucky, and is taking visits to UK, IU, UNLV, and New Mexico. JT3 needs to go "BIG GAME" hunting ASAP!

Don't know. Go to i95ballerz.com and check out a story on Armwood and Judge and others. Look under past articles and scroll down. Ron Bailey (hoyaron) did the piece. Thanks, there are a lot of good wing players in 09' for Gtown to go after. I think GU should take one more big man in 08' Monroe, or another PF/C. Then save the wing positions for these really talented 09 kids...

sorry chuck. You should be able to click on past articles and scroll to the piece on Greg. If not, PM me and I'll send it to you. Link: i95ballerz.com/story%20-%20greg%20monroe%20-%20fall%2006.htmlPublished on October 8, 2006. Nice story. Sounds like a really great kid. That is a plus for us, especially when he comes for his visit and meets the team. Thanks ID Thanks, great read. When is Monroe supposed to visit Gtown?
