Height w/o shoes - 6' 7.75'' Height w/ shoes - 6' 9.5'' Weight - 228 Wingspan - 7' 1.25'' Standing Reach - 8' 7'' Body Fat - 3.7 % Standing Vert - 33.5" Max Vert - 38" Bench Press (185 lbs) - 17 Lane Agility - 12 3/4 Court Sprint - 3.34 Score - 238.38 Rank - 18 / 81 Kevin Durant was the only player who failed to lift 185 one time. Greg Oden moved really fast for someone so big. DJ Strawberry finished as the best all around athlete. Other interesting tidbits...Mike Conley being 5'11 w/o shoes and 6'0 w/ shoes, Durant actually being taller than his listed height of 6'9, Al Horford being a legit 6'10, Noah being a legit 7'0, Brewer being 6'7 instead of the 6'9 people were claiming him to be, Greg Oden's wingspan is ridiculous. Wow, this is really interesting info. I think this could keep me busy all day. Thanks for the post hoyatheart.
Out of curiosity, what height do scouts/teams use when discussing these players, with shoes or without shoes? Based on your comments, it seems like it's with shoes. That seems a little unfair, doesn't it? I might start referring to my own height as 'with shoes' and claiming, "Well, that's how the pros do it."
Does anyone know why Oden's bench says 'N/A'?

I think they use with shoes. 6-foot-9.5 for Jeff is pretty solid. His numbers actually seem pretty impressive.

Also another interesting tidbit...Jeff Green put up higher verticals than almost every lottery projected player at his position (Thornton got past 40)

185 one time. That is ridiculous if KD couldn't do that. He should be able to lift that three to five times even if he has never lifted weights in his life. I am sure it won't effect a thing but that is just insane.

Kevin Durant was the only player who failed to lift 185 one time. LOL! Funniest part is, he is still going to be the #1 pick.

The funny thing is the GM slipped up and said something of the sort then tried to retract his statement and gave a more PC answer. And even if he was...his bench press statistics don't have anything to do with putting the ball in the basket. Al Jefferson also couldn't lift the bar once...not only was he bigger than Durant, but he is strictly a post player while Durant is a wing.

jeff's body fat is unbelievable for someone his size and stength..his numbers are VERY impressive..too bad this isn't the NFL draft or he would have sky rocketed himself into the top 5.

I'm sure some people remember that Sweetney only put up a couple reps. Now, whatever Sweet's problems, I don't think "weak" would be a description many people would use to describe him.

Does anyone know why Oden's bench says 'N/A'? I believe it was because he is still feeling lingering effects of his wrist injury.

True but Durant and Sweets don't/didn't have the same body type. This is relevant and Durant's lack of strength will be the A-number-one area in which he'll need to improve from the start. In college, Durant could out-quick, out-tall and out-skill everyone on the court and certainly everyone at his position. In the NBA, he faces Carlos Boozer, Tim Duncan, Al Harrington, Elton Brand, et al on a nightly basis. Each of those guys runs, at a minimum, 250 pounds. Durant, at 215 pounds and unable to put up a single rep at 185, will be at a disadvantage. I know, I know, look at KG. Fine, there are exceptions. But Durant will need to start gaining weight and getting stronger the minute he shows up in the NBA.

I'm not sure how much is 0 bench press reps weighed down is score, but for Durant to finish 78th out of 81 players is pretty shocking (in fact, the only people he "beat" were those who didn't complete all of the tests). Call me crazy, but I for one would not rate Aaron Gray or Josh McRoberts as better physical specimens than Durant.

Aaron Gray is a spectacular source of ambergris for whoever gets him. Wow, I was going to insult Aaron Grey--possibly by comparing his status as a "physical specimen" to the broken down lawnmower in my backyard--but ambergris is much better.

Although maybe the fact that he may not have been trying should tell you something else about him as a player. I think a lot of people have been disappointed by LeBron James in that he coasts much of the time. There was a similar criticism about Durant "disappearing" for games. So maybe the fact that he couldn't get motivated to outrun and outjump a group of less athletic bodies should offer a warning. These comparisons are unfair, but as a point of reference, Michael Jordan never let himself lose at anything. Ever. On the road he would give baggage handlers $100 and then bet his teammates that his bag would be the first one out. They'd take the bet and MJ would win because that's what MJ did. He won. However, when we remember how talented Durant is, it's impossible to consider him anything worse than a top 2 pick. And the argument in the previous paragraph is weakened by LeBron's explosion in these playoffs.
