(Formerly titled "Don Reid Was Screwed")
No way he ranks behind Bob Nork. NO WAY. Bob Nork could wear Don Reid's jockstrap as a nightshirt. Please. Bob Nork.
MOD NOTE: ;D

don reid missed 2 ft's in the last seconds against nova as a freshman & we lost. he doesn't deserve to be listed. as JT put it 'we give him room, board, books, & tuition to make those ft's'.

I personally think having Fred Fees at #100 is a joke. Wasn't the national scoring leader one year?
Fred Rice is #100, not Fred Fees.--Admin

In the interest of anti-clutter yet preservation of expression: Ray Corley? Don Reid would not only dunk over Ray Corley, he would DUNK Ray Corley. Please.

I'm sure guru observed Ray Corley during the late 1940s so he is qualified to comment on him. As a point guard, Ray Corley would have dribbled away from Don Reid and shot from the outside over him. Since they played two entirely different positions in two entirely different eras, it's impossible for me to know which was better. They were both good basketball players. I know - I saw them both play.

"MOD NOTE: Please try to consolidate your Reid Ranting to one thread if possible. Here is the link to your first thread with the living-on-the-edge title.
Just a question, did you ever see Ray Corley play?"
Hey, Admin: Here's a quarter. Go buy yourself a sense of humor.
A thousand pardons if I offended any members of the Corley family. But I still say Don Reid would wipe the floor with him. Now I'll go back to "living on the edge"
Anyway, I like the idea of the rankings and appreciate your hard work on them. Maybe you can loosen up just a bit, though.

I was attempting to be humorous in my Mod Note since I realized your Don Reid threads were in that vein but apparently said humor escaped you. I will include a next time for emphasis.

My mistake. I think we might have our sense of humors synched up now . Anyway, I think FL Hoya might have something to say about today's honoree on the Top 100 list.

He might not be chiming in because he doesn't recognize the name. I remember him being referred to as Nat, and occasionally as Nathaniel, but I don't remember any Nate.
Also, we were a 10 seed that year.
