An embarrassment for FSU

And Vitale is worried about Coach K's safety on the floor. (Insert your own punch line.)

Shouldn't there be a technical?

Can you believe Vitale and Patrick criticizing FSU fans about fans rushing the court when they will promote infinitum Saturday the Dookie Crazies and their antics.

Actually I would have loved to have seen the refs DQ FSU and hand the win to Duke once the floor was mobbed.

Refs went out of their way to call fouls on Duke after the mistake that happened during the last game between the two teams.

Anyone think they would have given a technical if it were a 3 point game?
I think PTI might have dedicated an entire show to it.

I know he scored 30 tonight, but Redick is cooked. Way too many minutes this year.
As for the court rush thing, Vitale and Patrick are a disgrace. Chastising FSU for poor security? 100 staties couldn't have stopped that. 2 technical free throws was an appropriate penalty, anything more would have been incredibly unfair to the players.

Yeah, Vitale was acting like the National Guard should have been called out before the game. Security is non-existent in every on-campus arena in the country, and you'd think Dick would have learned that doing games for over a decade. Thought the refs and both teams handled the stupidity of the FSU students well, and nobody got hurt.

Yeah, I don't see the big deal. The students got excited and rushed the court a second early. The real disgrace was that no one managed to thwap Dicky V on the back of his bald head as they ran by.
