Whew! Glad we got the voice of reason from someone with zero knowledge of the team, able to regurgitate everything that's been said for the last 20 hours or so!! Ouch. Somebodys a littly ornery after last night's loss, and taking it out on the new guy.

we let illinois manhandle us from start to finish, not only on the boards but they pushed our offensive sets near the 3 pt line every possession. someone has to take the ball to the basket when teams pressure us like that. this passing the ball around the perimter for 30 seconds and then heaving a 3 doesn't work. jeff is the only one that played aggressively on offense and that wasn't until after halftime. Illinois plays very aggressive man to man D. We never (EVER) play zone defense. As a result, a single, athletic guy can often take one of our guys off the dribble and score or draw fouls. It PAYS to be aggressive against Illinois. While not knocking your coach at all, I certainly agree that had GTown played more aggressive, 1 on 1 type ball in the first half - allowed your guys to create on their own, it would have been more successful IMO. That would have allowed GTown to open the offense up a little and get back to your Princeton sets. Regardless, GTown has a good team and will adjust. By the end of the year, I'll guess that you guys will be tourney bound as I'm guessing you guys knock off a couple very solid teams. You have the pieces to make that happen for sure.
