She wasn’t pretty, but she was all that was left standing around late at the party. So I said, “Ah, what the heck!” Not realizing that she was doing the same thing😎 Exactly! 😂😂😂

Not realizing that she was doing the same thing😎 Exactly! 😂😂😂 Well she was just seventeen You know what I mean And the way she looked Was way beyond compare So how could I dance with another, Oh, when I saw her standing there Well she looked at me And I, I could see That before too long I'd fall in love with her She wouldn't dance with another Oh, when I saw her standing there Well my heart went boom When I crossed that room And I held her hand in mine Oh we danced through the night And we held each other tight And before too long I fell in love with her Now I'll never dance with another Oh, when I saw her standing there

If I’m not mistaken, two of Styles’ turnovers came from tracking down tough rebounds and stepping on the line. So in my mind, those are more “team rebound, DePaul” than “rebound and turnover, Styles.

Yeah, those are not TOs. The second one he didn’t even have control over but basically got whistled for making a play on the ball while out of bounds.

Funny how some posters get technical. Epps eye injury was in no way self inflicted, but Epps has a history of having "stuff" happen to him causing him to sit. And yes, moreso than other players. That's all. When he sits we usually stall because he is one of our best.

And yes, moreso than other players. That's all. When he sits we usually stall because he is one of our best. I am trying to remember everything that has happened to Epps this season. Poked in the eye vs DePaul and kept playing Lower leg injury in practice and missed the Creighton game. Missed Coppin State - think he still had the virus Missed Notre Dame. - think he caught the virus that RB had Think there was an in game injury early in the season…and that returned to the game. All of those appear 100% legitimate to me, and I have no complaints that he missed those games or parts of those games. Now I am going to talk out of the other side of my mouth. I don’t suggest that any of this applies to Jayden. My experience in my career is that certain people are prone to injury and accidents. I owned and ran a company for 6 years. We took safety very seriously and sought to eliminate reportable accidents. In looking at the data with my COO over many years including my tenure, one of the things that really helped us to eliminate reportable accidents that is that persons who kept getting injured left the company. Now this is an anecdote and a data point of 1, but I think also potentially reveals a truth. Certain people sure seem to be more prone to accidents and injuries. I know in the case of sprained ankles which I suffered frequently, improved strength and mobility can make a big difference in avoiding a sprain. I don’t think this necessarily applies to Jayden either, but I think it is interesting.

First paragraph - dead on. Add a C to Fielder or Cook and you have a decent front court. For this year, we have to make do and ostensibly you want Massoud's experience on the floor in a one possession game. Massoud has to play better down the stretch though (dribbled ball off foot, he was in horrible position on the three with 9.5 seconds left, came over to help Brumbaugh on Nelson and fouled but didn't foul hard enough to prevent the shot). McKenna - the difference here in playing Drew McKenna is what - maybe winning 5 games instead of 4? Or 4 instead of 3? If that? You need a C and Drew McKenna is not a C. You're going to tell a kid who skipped his senior year of high school for you to burn a year of eligibility to play less than half a season for what exactly? Why would Drew McKenna agree to that? Why would we ask that? That's the kind of move that DMV coaches would raise their eyebrows at and question whether Georgetown has the best interests of their kids at heart. Beat me to it. It’s not like McKenna is going to turn this team into a BE or at-large contender. I would think that asking him to burn a year of eligibility would increase the chance of losing him to the portal (never mind the longer-term reputation consequences). I’d rather assume the risk that he (like anyone) might bolt on the back end versus poisoning the well on the front end. Absolutely, Drew must redshirt.

Styles player of the game for us. Really like when Rowan & Fielder are out there together preferably with Styles. A W is a W. Some good things happening. Let's take it to S. Hall next! The reality is that it certainly looks like we are battling DePaul for tenth place.

I don’t think this necessarily applies to Jayden either, but I think it is interesting. It’s pretty simple with Jayden. He is easily the best offensive player on the team who has a really good and quick release 3 pt shot along with being a good scorer at this level. This leads to defenders not knowing how to defend him and they over defend by running at his 3 pt shot (leading to him landing on the defenders foot and spraining an ankle) or overzealous hands eye poking him. Early in his NBA career this was a problem for Steph Curry where defenders were so worried about his 3 Pts shot that they would run into him and Steph would end up landing on their foot following the 3pter and injuring his ankle or foot.
