Not firing a coach you are going to fire at the end of the season creates this dynamic. People doubt your commitment to moving forward, root against the team because they want change more than they want wins. If Baldwin were coaching the rest of the way, everyone would be rooting for wins. Are you sure the head coach is getting fired at end of the season? You're funny roc. If this question is serious then I gotta ask, do you care more about the program being in Ewing and Ronny's hands than it actually succeeding? Because they have proven the past two seasons that they don't have the answers. And as mentioned before, if Ewing stays after another dismal season, then many of the remaining fans will leave the program so that would be fun ig for the people who kneel before the altar of Thompson. Also, do you think Ewing deserves to be fired based on his performance?

Keep that same energy until the end of the season.

I think the Head Coach thinks he's getting fired at the end of the season. I think the assistants think they are getting fired. Haven't seen any report of any of them out recruiting, other than Baldwin taking a recruiting trip to Milwaukee which is basically a free flight home.

Let's be real! St. John's is not a good team but is nowhere near Georgetown's level of incompetence. KenPom 71 vs. KenPom 227 as of this morning. But yeah...they share a lot of the coaching and player issues that Georgetown has....and performance has underperformed talent. Georgetown's individual players have always had the ability to bring home some wins in the Big East. But I would not look at DePaul as a "turning point" or a "gelling point" for this team. Statistically, a win was way overdue. I think 1 - 2 more wins are due and St. John's is a pretty likely suspect. Should be a pretty ugly game with a fast pace and lots of turnovers. They also have a true PG and a coach that doesn't mind subbing. At the pace that this game will be played GTown will need STJs to shoot extremely bad to win.

Looks like 10 point underdogs with a 156.5o/u. Post this stuff not because I gamble much or because it is much of a predictor (though it gives an idea where we stand in the scheme of things) but because it can add a level of interest to watching, especially late when typically there’s not otherwise much of interest going on…

Keep that same energy until the end of the season. Yeah and some people have left the board and many including myself stopped buying season tickets. And many have left because they accept the reality of how bad the program leadership is with the hope change is coming that gets more than 1 BE win in two years

St. Johns can match the athleticism of the Hoyas, plays better defense and is very streaky on offense. Against a poor Hoya defense, and in particular if the Hoya offense consists of my turn basketball, I think that this could be a blowout. Major key will be how Wahab and Akok do against Jones and Soriano.

Per Rothstein: Posh Alexander won't be playing for St. John's today due to an ankle injury
Posh has been a bit off his game this season. he also looks a little heavy to me any time I have watched St. John's play.

Murray doing the bad body language thing again, loves blaming others - wonder where he learned that.

Murray doing the bad body language thing again. Awful and yelling at teammates for his poor pass...great body language from a guy that thinks he does no wrong on a 1 win BE team

murray fires a pass 100mph standing 10 feet from Q and then gives him attitude for not catching it. murray's body language on the court is terrible.
