I don’t know if one tweet (from what I can see on his account - correct me if I’m wrong) following his Louisville visit counts as “tweeting” (implying multiple tweets about multiple programs). To me, it appears that he got pics from his Louisville visit a few days ago and posted them, in keeping with what he has done after every visit and will do after other future visits. Just don’t want to stoke the “Hoyas are blowing it narrative” YET (there’s still time…). He also reposted a Hilltop Hoops tweet on his skill set relatively recently (within his last 5ish tweets). Im glad Ewing and the whole staff went out to see him and I hope he does feel the love. If we miss out on him, so be it. There are plenty of other programs showing him attention and love and the miss wouldn’t be for want of trying. Also possible the CA visit by the staff was longer ago than I thought, not trying to start anything just trying to make a moderate counter point. IIRC, Miranda has been very clear that he will take all visits possible before committing (as he should). Specific to Twitter, Miranda himself posted two Louisville-related tweets during/the week after his Louisville visit. He posted 0 Georgetown-related tweets during/the week after his Georgetown visit. Also, Rhode Island Elite posted a tweet of Miranda with a whole group of Miranda hangers-on along with the Louisville coaches during his official visit. No such tweet was made by Rhode Island Elite during his Georgetown visit. Rhode Island Elite has posted at least a dozen tweets related to Miranda and Louisville in the last week alone. I stand somewhat corrected! I do value boyas contributions, to be clear (and also recognize that he has a more negative view of the state/ direction of the program than I do but does provide a lot of value to the board). Miranda did post gtown pics to IG even if not to Twitter: http://instagram.com/p/Cew201pr4ky And has posted pics there for most visits I believe. Can’t speak to RIE posts (and whether or not RIE has a preference for what school he attends) but I’m sure you are correct in your counting. Whatever happens happens, all I’m trying to say is I don’t think the house is burning down regarding Miranda just yet and that reading the tea leaves of social media regarding Miranda may be a fools errand (as who knows exactly how young men substantially younger than me / most on this board think and post). I hope he comes here but, again, if he doesn’t it won’t be for lack of staff effort. Recruits do (and should) choose whichever situation they think is best and, if that is Louisville, so be it. Again, not trying to start anything or make enemies - thank you boya for keeping these threads up to date with recruiting info and for some reasonable pessimism. And thank you to many other folks for remaining positive.

This is concerning/disappointing. It sounded like the Hoyas were in a good spot with Miranda, but if he is considering skipping college all together that is obviously not a good sign for Georgetown.

Yea definitely doesn’t seem like he will go to school now Even if he does, he's signed with an agent who will be working to get him the best NIL deals possible. Does anybody think we'll match up well with the likes of Louisville, Texas and Oregon on that front? Unless Nickelberry has something special in his bag of tricks, woulds seem the best strategy at this point would be to stop expending significant resources recruiting the kid and move hard onto other targets.

Even if we can pull that rabbit, does a one and done at center typically work? I can't think of many. Anthony Davis I guess but that probably isn't a sustainable long term plan for Georgetown.

"2. WHICH UNCOMMITTED PROSPECTS RECRUITMENT DO YOU SEE AS THE HARDEST TO PREDICT?” CASSIDY: The recruitment of Issiah Miranda retains some mystery even at this late stage. USC has long been seen as a player, but Miranda seems to be a little more open these days than he was months ago. The 7-footer recently visited Louisville, which seems to be making an aggressive late move. The Cardinals, Trojans and pro options are the most likely options these days, but I’m not quite confident enough to venture a guess on which of the three will ultimately win out." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/rivals-roundtable-is-dj-wagner-a-kentucky-lock-

"At a time when most 2023 recruits are either committed or leaning in one direction, Isaiah Miranda stands as an exception. The 7-footer out of Southern California Academy retains some mystery when it comes to his post-high school intentions and says eight programs remain in the running to secure his pledge. Not all programs on his list stand on equal footing, however. 1. PROFESSIONAL OPTIONS (THE NBA) 2. LOUISVILLE 3. USC 4. GEORGETOWN Miranda is the Hoyas’ top target and Patrick Ewing and company have treated him as such for some time. The four-star center constantly cites Georgetown as the program recruiting him hardest, and his official to campus went exceedingly well. Ewing was in to see Miranda on the first day he was permitted last month, so some semblance of optimism among the staff remains. The Hoyas are a long shot but can’t be totally discarded." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/ranking-the-contenders-four-star-isaiah-miranda

Glad to hear his visit went well. If you never go after these kids, you are guaranteed never to get them.
