I would think everyone would hope that what was posted in his absence was not true. I will again re-iterate I strongly hope today's absence was for personal reasons. As a senior completing a degree is so important especially at a quality school such as Georgetown.
No additional comment needed until this plays out. But for the young man I hope the assurances that he is still here is true. Moreso for a life decision, not so much a basketball one.

OK, we can pause this one until something more definitive occurs.

Good for him. Can't hurt. It can only help to get feedback on what he needs to develop.
Wish him the best.

I'm not 100% sure he wouldn't go undrafted in G-League

Feels like there's little to gain in taking shots at Q here. He helped win a BET. Got bad advice/direction and then his return didn't go how anyone hoped.

Facts and testing the draft waters to get advice could be really helpful and at worst he just gets word what he needs to improve if he wants a career in europe (which is not bad at all) because at this point he is far and away from being an NBA level center. He’s actually making a smart move in his college career here and maintains eligibility I get why some dislike him (as i was on the boat as well) but time to move on people

I feel sorry for Q. Imagine you stake your future on leaving for a foreign country and receiving bad advice and bad coaching. It's sad.

Couldn’t he have entered the portal and gone into the draft too? That he’s not doing that tells me he’s actually more likely to come back, not less likely.
People are way too hard on Wahab. I understand people don’t like that he left, but it’s hard to blame anybody for leaving under Ewing.

He’s demonstrating that he really doesn’t want to be here which would fail Cooleys first test. So his roster spot will be filled and he’ll have very little time to find Another team before the window closes.

Not sure why all of a sudden you are desperate to get him back. Would you rather have Mutombo or Q? Because Cooley isn’t going to keep 4 guys who can only play center.

Q hasn’t developed. Need to look to the portal for a center. Ryan’s not ready to start.

Maybe Ewing is to blame, maybe not.

So Q, Muotmbo, another center who may be better than both, and a fourth forward who can center against some lineups. Works for me. I'm fine with Q on the team depending on his usage.

It’s a pretty easy decision if you ask me

The same people that gave Q the idea of transferring are giving him the idea he’s ready for the next level.
