Game day!
Gonna have to watch this one on record. Hopefully we’re fully healthy and ready to compete. No more embarrassments.
Go Hoyas! Beat whatever St John’s mascot is now!

IIRC the boo birds at CapOne for JT3 started in late January. If the games keep going as badly as they’re going, you better buckle up for what’s coming. That assumes anyone attends. I'll be there but booing is not a thing I do. In any event, booing indicates the fans care. No attendance and apathy means they have given up. I’d be surprised if Ewing gets booed. But I guess it could happen. I won’t take part.

There were still a decent number of fans who cared towards the end of the JTIIII era. There are not nearly enough fans left who care enough to go to a game and boo Ewing. especially since it's Ewing - I think we should move on to a new coach, but I would never boo him under any circumstance because of what he means to the program. I suspect that many fans who think he should be fired feel the same way.

You would have to be an absolute psychopath to boo the greatest player in Georgetown history. The guy who brought you 3 final fours in 4 years.
If you don’t want him as coach there are other things you can do than behave in such a childish manner.

I always viewed the boos as intended to the program, the administration (or owner the case of the pros), and not to an individual person. You are booing the product not a person.
But even so, I think given Ewing’s legacy it would be harder to envision any fan booing him or the team while he’s in charge.

It also can be taken as booing student athletes which to me is not a good look

It also can be taken as booing student athletes which to me is not a good luck I agree. I prefer the method I think BLT has with the letters to the administration. The student athletes came here and are playing their hardest and they deserve support because ultimately it is a much higher level that deserves the blame for the current situation.
Now back to the St. John's game. I hope Dante is back as I think he handles the pressure better than Tyler but would like to see both play together more often than we have seen this game. I think Carey would be a great boost also because he is the most consistent shooter we have. I would love to see more kick outs from both Harris if he plays and Aminu. Collin has shown he can shoot out there and if Carey is back too that gives a lot of good options. Maybe that would even help Rice get set shots if we have 2 other options although I'm not sure we would see a lineup with all 3 on the court at the same time. Timmy should match up good with Soriano.

Agree with the sentiment re: boo birds and thought it would never happen to the son of JT2, but it happened... and btw I wasn’t there, so it wasn’t me...

I hope that Hoyas can play a respectable game and show signs of improvement with respect to more ball movement and less individual play. Would like to see more of Ryan and Jalin and hope that Rice can wait for the open shot rather than force it with a man in his face. Hope that Aminu becomes a distributor. Really believe there is talent on this team, just lacking discipline and structure. Both qualities are needed against the Johnnies today who will be desperate to avoid a loss to a team with the Hoyas rankings. Not expecting much on defense as that seems a much bigger fix.

Tweet was deleted, what was it? MOD Note: Bobby Bancroft tweeted that it looked like Carey and Harris were going to be out. Only turned out to be half true.
