Enjoy the game everyone that will be in attendance. Won't be making the trip myself due to other commitments but I will be watching. It's the kind of thing where 10 years ago I'd be making every excuse to be at the game and building my winter schedule around weekend home games, but it's just not as much of a priority right now with the athletic department and staff showing no interest in engaging with us fans and the product being what it is. Certainly do still wish I was able to make it work and support the guys we have. A game like this is a one game season and just about anything can happen. Cuse is not a very good team but they are much more talented than we are right now and will exploit our defensive frailties with their sharpshooters stretching the floor. If I had to guess I'd say an announced 12,000 on hand and roughly 70% orange. We will be back as a program one day and I hope that if we lose this game it is seen as the low point and the day where we as a university and athletic department recentered our efforts on this program.

I am expecting the lowest attended Syracuse home game in the last 40 years. Hope I’m wrong.

I have some extras to the game today. If you're still looking, lemme know. Section: 110 Price: A beer or two p.s. -- was just on campus & saw some of the guys as they were hopping on the bus. They look & sound confident.

Line is Cuse -3.5 O/U 156.5 I took the Hoyas with spread and ML. Just got a feeling about this one. We aren’t built to beat many big conference teams but Syracuse is one of them. We have played them tough since Orr has been here even when we seemed to be overmatched. I wish Ewing would funnel his inner Belichick and just shoot nothing but 3’s today. Just rub it in Boeheim’s face for hopefully one last time as him as their coach.

GAMEDAY!!!
This is the biggest game of the year for many and at least the top for most. I'm hoping we carry over the shooting from UMBC and crash the boards. Do those two things and we'll crush the orange.
Go Hoyas! Beat the Orangemen.

I just get this feeling that if Kaiden Rice hits 2 or 3 early 3s and doesn't put an 0-for-lots half up, we're gonna win. That 3-point threat against the Cuse zone can make all the difference. But he's so streaky you never know if you'll get Good Rice or Bad Rice. Him hitting shots will force the zone to rotate toward him faster and open up others.
Would also be a great game for Carey to find his stroke. With quick ball movement he could get some open shots off Cuse rotating fast toward Rice.
Also would love to see Aminu show a willingness today to dish out to the 3 off some of his drives. He's too good and too determined to drive for that zone to keep him from getting inside, but instead of forcing it up when they collapse on him, he could do some damage by dishing it back out to the 3. In particular getting it out to Rice with his quick release could destroy that zone.

Let’s try not to get down 9-0 early, as we’ve prone to do. A good start and early shots going down will help get the crowd into this. A big hole early and the energy (whatever of it there may be) gets zapped.

Weird that we are wearing dark blue at home, right? I actually like it but I cannot remember wearing them at home anytime recently.

0-2. Already as many misses from Rice as all of last game. Let’s hope it’s not another 0-9.
