GAMEDAY!!!
Love a good Friday game, hopefully it allows Cap One to be full tonight. As far as the game goes, we need to come out early ready to fight (no complacency) and get then hold the lead. We should be able to out run, rebound, and work this Siena team. Hopefully Holloway is healthy so we have a good game to work him back into the rotation. Tim being back was the key to us looking better this week but I'd like to see more Mourning Mutombo since his development is the key to the future. Keep getting Wilson minutes too since we will need him. I'm sure parts of this game will be up and down while Coach continues to tweak lineups against a weaker opponent. I'm sure we will see extended stretches of at least 4 FR on the court, let's see how they do dealing with the ebbs and flows. Hopefully this game helps Dante and Rice get back on track with their deep shooting. I expect Aminu to get to the line as he has been, can he improve his FT%? This time of the year is the best because we aren't a finished product, we get to see how the sausage is made and be part of the process. Again, it won't be pretty all the time but I love the ride!
Go HOYAS!!! Beat the Saints!

Let’s not be overconfident Hoyas fans. We have had one good game and and one bad game. Need to bring the energy and defense every game to win. Here’s hoping there is no let up. Hoya Saxa.

The Siena board says their beat writer was denied permission to speak to Orr and Carey. Freshman may be allowed to speak to the media now, but good to see some element of paranoia remains intact Or we could just abandon it altogether.

Sienna is in disarray. We need to be poised and dominate them for 40 minutes...refusing to play them at their level.

Never be overconfident, but this is a team on paper and on the court we should take it to. We had our bad game first with multiple first time players. They improved in game two and you would certainly hope to see them improve even more against the weakest opponent we will probably see this year. So, overconfident no, but if we don't win there is trouble in River City.

Dante makes a 3, but still has the odd hitch.

Rice has been looking a lot better on defense so far, which is really good.

Tim's gotta finish that roll hard Rice need to have much better passes. Tim is big but not that big. It was the third bad pass by Rice in an early game.
