Sounds like that's working out for Ka-Deuce. Wait, I thought Wahab said that was already part of his game but Ewing wouldn't let him use it. Yeah, Ewing was holding him back from eating 10 cheeseburger a day. Now Q can go all out at the buffet table.

We need to continue to feel out how to play at high speed without being out of control. A game like this one is a nice chance to do that. The AU game might have been the closest thing to the hockey-style subs that I prefer- keep it coming!

The AU game might have been the closest thing to the hockey-style subs that I prefer- keep it coming! It's been a while since we've had that in the regular season. The III teams played the slow down ball so was hard to build 20-30 point leads to give subs PT. Especially towards the latter half of his tenure, even the OCC games were really close so he was forced to keep the starters in the whole game and we could never develop the younger players.

I appreciate progress might not be linear this season, but lets hope the team can build on Tuesday's performance: - Final tuneup before San Diego St. Looking to see if we start to see trends emerge in terms of the rotation and lineup combinations. I'll be particularly looking for the lineup with Carey and the 4 non-Aminu frosh. If that bench unit gels well it would be a powerful weapon. I do think Ewing has experimented more with different combinations this year, which is a good thing.
- Clark or Holloway watch. Safe to say if they're not playing tomorrow, we're unlikely to see them Thanksgiving week. And I think the current 10 man rotation can't get much bigger before it gets unmanageable. Holloway certainly looked closer based on actually warming up before the game. For me it would be if a center drops from the rotation and we're willing to play Billingsley there for a stretch then that could open up some time at the 4.
- Kaiden Rice. I'll fully admit I don't bat 1,000 on my predictions, but I do try to learn and not make the same mistake twice. With the being said, I was one of the many on this board burying Bile early on. Maybe there's just an adjustment period when the spotlight is on and profile is larger and you know every game is on national tv. We will need his shooting at some point, I haven't had any actual issues with the shot selection itself (as opposed to Bile where that drove me crazy), they just haven't dropped. Would be great to get him some confidence and see the ball go through the hoop a few times. But Ewing also played it right on Tuesday. If he doesn't have it that night, go to Billingsley don't hesitate.

This will be a great chance to get ready for the West Coast adventure. We know SDSU is solid, and most know of UCLA's beating Nova of late, but U$C has beaten UCLA twice in 2020 and once in 2021. So the trip is going to be Big East plus. Now, not a sure thing we get to U$C but it we do, we need to ready.
Siena will be a good test of how PE is preparing this young team

I really hate to go off topic ... so I will write something about Sienna ... but Kim English just overtook Kevin Broadus as my favorite "next" coach in the DMV! Out of curiosity, why Broadus? He was our last legitimate DMV assistant. A great recruiter and a great assistant coach. He burned a little bright and fast at SUNY Binghamton, but live and learn. He's still recruiting up at Morgan State with DMV guys and transfers (including Sherwyn Devonish!). Binghamton is going to follow him around for a while ... but I'm hoping if he can put together an NCAA run or two at Morgan State that he'll get a look at a higher level. Basically I love him because he seemed like the "get anything done" type of guy that someone like JT3 needed ... I have also forgiven Kevin for his Twerp tenure.

Pre-season, when KenPom's ratings were based on projections, our worst game was Darmouth, but now that Sienna has bombed in three games, Siena is ranked 305 and likely our worst game all season. While I generally hate all 300+ ranked games, the freshman need time and so it'll be a good exercise.

Gameday!
Holloway returning and contributing would be one great development. So would Carey going off on his old team. Is that too much to ask?

And more production out of the post against a smaller team. Let's get Tim, Wilson and Ryan turning into a decent threat.

I want to see the Hoyas full court press and have a double digit lead at halftime. I also want to see good attendance from the students for an early game on a Friday night.

The Siena board says their beat writer was denied permission to speak to Orr and Carey. Freshman may be allowed to speak to the media now, but good to see some element of paranoia remains intact

I want to see the Hoyas full court press and have a double digit lead at halftime. We are putting together a pretty tight wishlist. If the Joya step up and even a couple of the things mentioned in the few posts above, I’ll start to think this team might be under something

Siena coach Carmen Maciarello played for Louis Orr at Siena 21 years ago and describes him as a friend and mentor which is how this game got put together.
He also said he met Patrick after Orr became an assistant, and says of Patrick "He's an NBA Hall of Famer who returns your text message quicker than your own players".

I'm seeing Hoyas -15.5, O/U 139.5.
Both seem low to me. If Hoyas rebound and can get out and run, score could be higher?
